Real Dolls

Seriously, because I'm not sure. Its kind of weird, but more confusing than anything.

That was kinda strange, REALLY doesn't appeal to me at all, but the world would be boring if everyone was the same I guess.

Though if they were more like Chi might not be so bad, would take a sentient doll over an inanimate one any day.

Yeah, a sentient doll would be pretty fun. Like I said it was a little weird and a little confusing, partially because, a person could have one as just another sex toy. The fact that people have such intimate relationships with the dolls is what blurs the line between whatever and awkward.

If you have the cash and the craving, I don't see why not. They're nothing more or less than elaborate sex toys- pocket pussies and dildos with faces, among other things. The creep factor lies in some people taking the fantasy too far into delusion, in which case I'm more disturbed by the individual than by the object.

If it's not hurting anyone, I see no problem with people doing it.

That being said, it would be unnerving to me to have an inanimate human-esque object "looking" at me all the time. No matter how good the craftsmanship on the dolls, you still lose out on most of the good parts of a relationship. No conversations, emotional/mental interaction, sharing ideas, etc. Sentient dolls would be intriguing. I'd probably be more inclined to play logic games with them personally to see how far their AI went rather than use them for sex toys. If they had a level of intelligence such that they are aware of their own existence in a metaphysical sense, they would be entitled to the same rights as humans in my opinion though.

I remember when I was in like 7th or 8th grade, I went to this wax museum and the whole time I was bugging the fuck out because they were so realistic and that was back when I was so paranoid I thought my dogs were plotting to kill me, seriously I did.

When I think about what it would be like fucking one, I can't help but think of necrophilia. I mean to each his own, but I personally couldn't do it.

Sometimes out there guys, you wont find people as normal as even you all here would say normal. Yes, they do have their own minds able to think whats right whats wrong, but some other part of the mentality is sorta out of place is guess i am not the doll guy kind of man, but i am the sort of the person who cherish upon suicidal concept, u know those tht inflict wound onto own self and sulk in a very serious way all by himself yeah i do have tht in me but i still can control myself to the extend of not jumping off a building. So i sorta pity or sympathize them then looking them in other way.
Mostly i can say they been through a part of life i think is not mean for everyone to go at some point of the life he had, u know is like the wrong thing at the wrong time... get it ?

i can see if you need to get a good lay, by all means, go for it. battery powered, big or small... hell, if you have to plug it up, go... but this seems a bit much.

I watched the first ten minutes of it and I thought that it was interesting. For the most part they really didn't seem that abnormal. They knew that the dolls weren't real so they clearly are not crazy at lease not in a clinical way. I find the perfection in the features of the dolls to be scary. I think that anything alive if infinitely more beautiful then a doll. But it really comes down to each to his own. "There is no truth, but thinking makes it so".

i think my problem with it is not the sex... i mean, if you need to get your rocks off and you're not with anyone, it's way better than picking up a hooker...

I saw this a while back, when I watched real TV. I found the idea not really shocking. They keep to themselves and don't hurt the real world. Sure, it's creepy for outsiders, but to them it's a way of life. Though, in saying that, I do think it is pretty screwed up. Sex with them would be OK, but thinking that they were asleep or talking almost sounds like schizophrenia. For those of you who don't know, schizophrenics hear voices and see images, almost like ghosts. The voices are normally evil, and saying bad things about the person. It's not a split personality.

I have inhibitions about me ever even getting one. Lifeless eyes creep me out if I see them late at night. Perhaps if I was a rich millionaire I'd send one to Raze dressed up as Sekai. Otherwise, probably never look at the option. There is no true replacement for real sex. Unless they started putting heaters in the lil' suckers.

I had a crazy idea. Would there be a real or artificial difference between masturbating to hentai and having sex with a doll. They both are created by people for pleasure and both are not "real". I just thought that they were similar in many ways.

The guy's actions are a little creepy. And they're too expensive. I would not buy something like this at all. If there was some sort of response integrated in them, then I could start to understand why they are viewed as a companion, but still. It's just too... dead.
