You guys should all watch Lars and the Real Girl starring Ryan Gosling. It's an excellent movie and addresses the issue with intelligence and compassion.
As for those of you who seem disgusted, well, don't you think that people who don't read hentai would look at you funny if they knew you frequented a site where the content included gang-rape and incest? Of course it's not exactly the same situation, but it always comes down to a question of perspective eh?
I guess I do find the practice a bit odd, but if that's the only way they can live and be happy (ie they've tried talking to people and tried "real" relationships and it just won't work), then what the hey, to each his own indeed. Also, who knows what "Gordon" might do with his guns without that doll to keep him anchored.
