you could work as:
A journalist
a reporter
An author
translator (if you know any other languages)
these are but a few =P not sure if they are relevant though since these are the ones that came to my head when i read the question xD hope it helps
I don't like reporting or anything like it, so that's a no-go on journalist and reporter. I don't know any other languages, so translator's not good either. As for author, I can write, but being an author is like playing the lottery. You have to have another job to afford to play, and your chances of hitting it big and getting a lot of cash are slim.

You could be a teacher, couldn't you?
I've already studied up on that, and I'm gonna have to say no to teacher. To teach at a college, you have to have at least a master's degree, usually a doctorate, and they don't earn much unless they've been working for years. A high school (or below) teacher requires a degree in Education, plus you have to deal with, ugh, teenagers. I couldn't handle that. Too many of them are unmotivated.

I dunno, writing for a magazine or something? :P
I hate reporting. I did it in high school and college, and it sucks. Not my cup of tear.
But thanks for trying to help, guys. :)
I don't think anyone really knows what can be done with an English degree.
