I celebrate a holiday that just so happens to land on the same day as Christmas. A.G.E.D. (Atheist Gift Exchange Day). It's not an official holiday but, I'm hoping it'll take off just like Tim Buckley and Winter-een-mas. Though I do buy gifts for my non-atheist friends. Every Christmas, we have a tradition.
Cousins and Family members from all across the country (sometimes around the world) gather at one place: our home. We eat, dance, play games and, most of all, be happy and merry. After everything settles down, we bring out the beer and alcohol and the Adults gives out money to their Godchild. That's also the time we exchange gifts.
Around 1 or 2 pm, we all go home and sleep till the afternoon...
Guess that means we celebrate christmas eh?

I don't know about that whole Chanukkah thing, though. I mean, yeah, you are guaranteed 8 gifts unless your parents find a way to Jew you out of it and break gifts up, but it's not necessarily good gifts.
As a side not, you even notice that people are typically offended when you say you got "Jewed" out of something, but people are typically alright with you saying "gypped"? I would like people to be equally offended by all of my racism. Sorry for the off-topic sidebar...

Ummm I guess I celebrate 'christmas'.
But I was always told that the christans stole it from the pagans lol...
And that it was a 'feast' to seperate the winter months.
I always thought my mother was a nutty witch >_<
But I guess Baby Jesus didnt have a fir tree with lights on did he?
So I just stick to bringing in natural holly leaves and a xmas tree in. And cook LOADS of food and spoil my daughter.
Oh and get VERY VERY drunk :shock:

Such is the tragedy of my species. Some of us...just aren't very bright. What do you expect of a species that wears formal cloths to the beach?

That's fucking priceless. But yea, I celebrate Christmas; or try to. Mainly since where I live we have no snow, just palm tree's, crab grass and 80 degree weather in December. Shit sucks.
But hey, I get free shit since I still live with my parents. But, one thing I do dislike about holidays is how it has progressively deteriorated over the years. Now it's all about presents, gimme gimme and greed. Oh well, everything/everyone has to die sometime...Jesus.
