When I was underage, I loved cheap vodka, tequila, and rum. The second I turned 21, I suddenly developed a love for good beer. My life-long boycott of Miller, Coors, and Bud started then. I started hitting micro-brews, which are truly little pieces of paradise that's scattered throughout the American landscape *sniff*.
It was around this time that I grew fond of whiskey, scotch and bourbon to be specific. I grew to realize that the way I used to drink liquor while I was younger were truly a waste of precious booze. After I was forced to become civilized and work in a white collar setting, I also picked up wine drinking. Reluctantly at first, but they quickly grew on me.
Now I'm an equal opportunity drinker, so long that what I drink is of good quality.
My growth in alcohol mirrors your own.
