Whose the real monster, Tom or Jerry?

I was really amused when I saw the episode wherein Tom is insanely desperate to catch Jerry that he even study on how to play a piano and he become an instant Ludwig van Beethoven.

Tom isn't really the bad guy xD , he just need a friend.

I'm going to have to go for Jerry on this one.
Not only does he show no remorse, but sometimes he goes out of his way to fuck with Tom.

Like the musketeers ones (I just realized, musketeers=musket....where are the fucking guns?), Jerry goes looking for a fight more than a couple of times.
Or where the bulldog is doing the single dad thing--all Jerry does is fuck up thier food, and scapegoat Tom.
Not to mention the Dr. Jekyll one--where the true Jerry came out and just fucked up all of Tom's shit.


The only time I remember Tom going out of his way--not based on hunger, safety of house and home, or call of duty---is the ones with the duckling (maybe hunger) and the WWII parody (my personal favorite).
Otherwise, he mind's his own goddamn business (like real cats do), until you fuck with him.

When I was little I always loved both. I remember when I dressed up as Jerry for Halloween one year. But I agree, Jerry is much meaner.

Speaking of old cartoons and such, last night Fpod and I were discussing how Pepe le Peu could be considered a sex offender from all the episodes he was on. Kinda off topic, but just goes to show what kind of cartoons we watched as kids.

Jerry like the other 30+ members said. Jerry half of the time messes with Tom, gets even though he gets revenge and tom lays off he still goes after him, and Jerry uses everyone like the Spike the dog and Butch the alley cat. So definately jerry is the main monster/dick in the series but then again Tom has done his share of things to Jerry but not as worse.

I think the most evil one of them all is Jerry's uncle. The one with the huge mustache who plays on the guitar. He just comes up to Tom and rips his whisker out. "A cat's whiskers are so sensitive that they can detect the slightest directional change in a breeze." Also that same mouse is magical. When he was performing his song on TV and his string broke, he magically popped his arm out of the TV, swiped the last of Tom's whiskers and went back.

Well, Jerry is a thief and a vandal, while Tom is an attempted murderer half the time and just a bully the other half. So, I guess it's even.
