Winamp Vs. iTunes.

The thread title says it all. Which of the two do you use? If you use neither then what player do you use? I just got a new computer as some of you may know so I'm wondering what player everyone uses. I do own an iPhone and did have iTunes on my old computer but I wanted to know what others use as an alternative.

Why didn't you make a poll to make it apparent?

I don't just want to know about the two. I don't know what all the music/media players are so putting up a poll just for Winamp and iTunes seemed unnecessary since I asked about more then those two. I will add a poll tho for the hell of it.

I prefer winamp simply for its new bento skin. Goes nicely with my dark windows theme I got goin on.

I'm an iTunes uses for my music because I like Genius and I have an iPod which is starting to become too small for me(I have an 80GB Classic Black). But I have used Win Amp before, It's alright but not up to my preferences in music listening abilities.

I use rhapsody. I don't actually buy music, I'm a CD kinda guy, but I find Rhapsody easier to use than Itunes.

Neither, i use foobar2000 which is 10x better then Itunes or Winamp not only for sound output quality but features as well.

iTunes. I have been using it for so long now, that when I tried out Winamp, it just confused me. While iTunes isn't that great, having an iPod kinda made it necessary so I just changed it to be my default

I know I'm obviously very biased towards Macs as everybody knows, and nobody will take me seriously when it comes to Apple products, but I'll say it anyway.

iTunes is way better than Winamp. Firstly, Winamp doesn't even run on a Mac*. Secondly, iTunes has a better user interface. I do have a PC running Windows in the attic, and I tried out Winamp once, and I got the same thought as Xel Naga. Winamp really confuses me for some reason. Thirdly, I own an iPhone and an iPod.

I prefer winamp simply because it doesn't auto-sync every time I plug someone else's Ipod in.

I am on my new computer now. I couldn't stand using the iPhone and PS3. The iPhone is okay for my on the go posting but the PS3 sucks at posting.

You should have gotten a usb keyboard (assuming you didn't). TBQH, video game browsers are not that bad for posting on forums. The Wii one is somewhat useful because it's a lot more easier to use.

Anyways, I use Winamp and sometimes Media Monkey. I only use iTunes because of my iPod.

I have yet to still try out the wii. But the PS3 has small text. >_>

You can set it to not Auto-Sync.

Zune

Windows Media Player, anyone? Very easy to use.

I switch between WMP and Winamp. The latter has the nice feature where I can select "Add Folder," and it will create a playlist of every song in a folder, whether I have one song in there or a thousand.

I don't use iTunes because I don't have an iPod (and would never get one; I love my Creative Zen).

Wow. Tested out foobar and holy shit there's about unlimited ways to customize it to how you want it to look. I can see people spending days getting it to look just right. I'm not so sure about the whole sounding better part but if you do spend the time you can make it look better than any of the current players out there. Too bad I'm lazy so I'll stick with winamp =P

i use winamp since its the only player i know that can play my impulsetracker libraries.... say does iTunes play impulsetracker modules(.it)?
