Winamp Vs. iTunes.

In dem early days, I used Winamp exclusively. Now, I'm using Songbird. Imagine what Firefox would be if it were a media player, and you have Songbird. It uses an interface layout actually very similar to that of iTunes, and also provides you with iPod synchronisation functionality. The main difference here is Songbird not being a huge piece of shit. Also, most of Firefox's add-ons are compatible to Songbird as well, and I find myself actually prefering Songbird's web browser, it's that awesome. Oh, wait. They're actually almost the same.

I'm also using iTunes, but that's mostly because Songbird can't keep up with the retarded way the iPhone needs to be synced. Yet.

But, to be honest with you guys, the one media player which completely captured my heart would be Amarok. Too bad I'm spending more time on windows machines and I just can't handle the idea of defiling such awesome software through using a windows port.

iTunes ... but then I got a Creative Zen X-Fi so whatever that crappy Creative program is...

Anyway, I've always preferred Winamp with classic skin. Plain, simple and easy to use.

Are you sure it actually renamed them and isn't just displaying them differently? I'm not sure if foobar even has the function to rename the files directly on its own.

Sure did.
Broke a lot of .m3u playlists as well.
I must've had its auto tagger set to on or something and I didn't know.
I had to fix folder names and throw the files in the right folders. then I opened winamp and got all the ID tags fixed. Guess I'll leave the weird filenames.

I have an iPhone 3G (and an iTouch before that), so I'm kinda forced to use iTunes. There are other programs out there that can work with an iPod but they seem to function somewhat funky.
I used to love MediaMonkey though.

Foobar never really felt 'right' for some odd reason. I'm thinking of trying it again though.

iTunes is very ugly unless you have an iPod. Winamp is 10x better than iTunes overall.

I choose winamp... if u guy have tried version 5.0 and above, u will b able to move the plug in visuals to yr desktop background... which is kinda cool~~

Winamp, obviously. I also have an iPhone, but i don't use itunes because it's a pain in the ass. I use a file manager to put new music on it. ("Files" works fine for it, and it's not really expensive on the AppStore)

i-tunes is good than winamp because,i-tunes is simple

I use Winamp because iPod can sync up with Winamp, if you guys hadn't noticed. <_<

But I only use winamp on occasion. I use VLC for single songs that I just downloaded, and Last.fm for general music.

I currently got a new pc in which I downloaded Winamp which so far I think is ok and got no problems with it so I don’t see a need to download Itunes also, I like how you can customize your skins on Winamp.

You know,iTunes are quite bad,because it's not flexible like Winamp .
Then,you can download Winamp for free at many places .
How 'bout iTunes?
imo they're used by rich guys who can buy licenses or hackers who can break it down .
