I am going to predict the results for wrestlemania right now if thats ok?
Chris Jericho will win the WWE Championship in conversational circumstances (Possibly feet on ropes or CM Punk rope break unseen by the referee)
Sheamus will win the World Heavyweight championship with a Borough Kick on a diving Daniel Bryan
Big Show will beat Cody Rhodes via DQ so he gets the wrestlemania win but No title
Randy Orton be dominated by Kane but will somehow win the match with an RKO but will then take a huge beating from Kane to be a typical "Won Battle, Lost War" ending
Triple H and The Undertaker will battle to a draw, I dont know how wether its a double KO or if Shawn Michaels superkick someone or both then counts both their shoulders down
John Cena will beat The Rock with the STFU after countering the people elbow
mark it down, 31/3/12 @20:31 London Time lets see how right i am in the end ^^
Predictions, eh? Okay, I'm going to give it a shot. Let's see...
Tag Team Championship match: Primo & Epico vs. The Usos vs. Justin Gabriel/Tyson Kidd (Dark Match)
The Colons should win this one. There's really not reason to give it Justin/Tyson and The Usos has had their chances. I believe The Colons are holding those titles till a credible tag team appears(and since WWE somehow hates The Usos) so today is not going to be that day.
Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy:
Team Johnny should win this one with the help of Lord Tensai, which is rumored to be Johnny Ace's bodyguard. Note that Team Johnny is still short of one member, which should be Lord Tensai(or A-Train if you guys prefer to call him that).
CM Punk vs. Jericho:
I'm not really sure about this one but I believe CM Punk will win that one. I don't know why,but something about the way the storyline has unfolded makes me think that. If Jericho wins, it will most likely not be a clean win. Either way, I stay with Punk winning, but this feud should continue beyond Wrestlemania.
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan:
Sheamus has received a huge push since months ago, which I believe it must have been planned that way in order for him to win at Wretlemania. This is his moment so he shouldn't lose here. However, I believe Bryan will lose because of AJ. Most probably because of a clumsiness on her part.
Big Show v. Cody Rhodes:
I'm with Akagitsune on this one. Big Show will win by DQ, though what happens after that could give him the Wrestlemania moment he has always wanted.
Randy Orton v. Kane:
This match should serve as a good opening match as I don't think a first match DQ would be ideal(see last prediction). Randy should win this one with a Reversal RKO(by countering one of Kane's moves with a RKO). This storyline will most likely continue till next month.
Mandatory Divas match:
It's obvious which tag team will win here. The real battle should happen backstage on the merchandise booths and the huge lines to the restrooms. Seriously, this is the reason the Tag Team Championship match is a dark match? I know it's a publicity stunt, but really...who the hell is that Momonuno girl? :/
Triple H vs. Undertaker:
Undertaker should win this one as he's practically God-tier on Wrestlemania. However, Shawn should play a huge part on this match. The match will have a lot of false finishes like always and both of them will receive Sweet Chin Music. Either way, due to some unknown power, Taker should be able to win it. It would be quite a douche bag move for WWE to end the streak, but nothing should surprise me coming from them...
John Cena vs. The Rock:
Sorry Team Bring It, the Fruity Pebble troupe is going to win this one. There shouldn't be a reason for Rocky to win it unless they plan to turn Cena heel this point forward. Of course, that's like 95% unlikely so yeah. Either way, just like HHH and Taker's match, this one should contain a good number of false finishes but a mistake on Rock's part should cost him the match.

Spoiler:
Orton/Kane match...didn't even know that was going to be on the card
Spoiler:
Punk/Jericho match(added stip by Johnny Ace that if Punk is dq'ed he loses his title)it was a great match, definitely liked the match as a whole.
Spoiler:
Team Bring It/Team Twitter vs. Team Fruity Pebbles/Team Fairy Green/Team Shamrock Shake(I could go on...)Team Bring It Wins! like I predicted(time for a heel turn Cena)oh btw thanks to Cena for botching 4 spots in this match...I have a keen eye for detail when it comes to these things.
all together Mania was pretty darn good! I still want to see Taker/Trips though
Edit: I did get to watch a replay of Wrestlemania...so I did see the Taker/Trips match and I gotta say it was a damn brutal match!
Sheamus vs Danielson - the plan was to beat an old record or something. way to go WWE! This made Danielson look bad, and Sheamus' win look cheap FOR NOTHING! since they didn't even beat the record. Way to fail WWE.
Kane vs Orton - Okay match, nothing really bad.
Show vs Rhodes - Hooray Big show finally achieved Midcard Status!!!
Phoenix/Torres vs Kelley/Celebrity lady - The celebrity gets the pin... Typical popcorn match.
Taker vs HHH - Much better than last years match, I gotta say though, 20-0 achieved but maybe now he should consider retiring.
Team long vs Team Excitement - Ryder was fucking feeling it tonight, totally saw that distraction coming though. not a bad match though.
Punk vs Jericho - Best match of the night.
Cena vs Rock - was pretty slow. I love the fact that the Rock won, but I still feel unsatisfied.
OVERALL: I gotta say I feel sorry for anyone who forked over 60$! for this PPV. The Rock alone is not worth spending 60$. It's pretty expensive and you don't even get your moneys worth.
I watched it all last night I got to say its wasnt as good as it should have been
they had 4 matches that should have all blew the house down and yet WWE made the mistake of making sure that all the other matches would all be 2nd best to the Cena/Rock which should have been like a fight, leaving it all in the ring and being like when Rock faced Stone Cold a third time and in the end The Rock stamina took him further and allowed him to hit 3 rock bottoms in a row to put him away..instead they ended it on a cocky mistake by Cena and a quick victory :(
The best match i have to agree was Punk vs Jericho but at the same time I felt that could have been better considering how good those two really are...In fact thats how every single match at wrestlemania felt to me...Not as good as they could have been
Just seeing the Trips/Taker match made WM worth it as a whole. I mean, complete package - storytelling, drama, not to mention every bit of action took hold of your attention. A master class of old-school wrestling to all those younger wrestlers in the back. And it was poignant too - all three symbolic icons of the 90s WWF era, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Undertaker, walking out to the curtain. Maybe it's really what was advertised, a fitting end to an era.
Other notes:
- I don't believe the bullshit the dirt sheets say about "trying to beat a record" in the Sheamus-Bryan match. I mean, the record (god, do I have to mention it) done by Fake Diesel and Swagger's Soaring Eagle of 8 seconds (WM24) for the ECW title was by far the most douchebag WM move of WWE. Technically, it made a record - the shortest WHC title match in Wrestlemania history. But for all intents and purposes, in my opinion this was the match designed to have post-WM implications, because unlike Chavo's, something happened before Bryan got the Brogue Kick. I do feel sorry for Bryan, his WM moment was wearing the most awesome coat that's going to end up on Mattel's Wrestlemania toy line.
- Cody wore the second most awesome coat this WM. I kind of liked Taker's, but it was too dark and spiky. And something I have to say - nice baller haircut, Deadman. Finally getting new hairstyle tips in Death Valley?
- Punk vs Jericho ended up the most technically sound match of the event. Lots of back-and-forth exchanges, and I enjoyed watching it. Although this is another one of those matches designed to have post-WM implications.
- Big Show wins the IC title for the first time. Good for him, a new title to his home's title cabinet. I actually like the IC Title, it looks like a world title unlike the US Title. Maybe this is just to get Cody off the midcard and make him win the bigger prize. I think MITB can do that to him, but reportedly Barrett's in line to win it. Hope he gets drafted to Raw.
- Foolski. Chasing after a hoeski ended up you losing the match for your broskis, Zack. Bye, Longski. Enjoy a temporary vacation while Laryngitis runs both shows to excitement levels commonly seen in TNA tapings.
- Rock vs Cena was enjoyable, although it was like having sour cream for chips and wishing you had creme fraiche instead. Lots of parts where the audience really got into the match, and it was as advertised. Although this is the part where Vince sells in the mystery after WM - what now? We'll find out, on Monday Night Raw's WM fallout show!
- I forgot about the divas match and Kane/Orton. Filler matches.
Overall it was a nice WM, arguably much better than last year (Miz? Come on, people remember that Rock leveled Cena during the match more than that Miz won).
Overall, it was a good Wrestlemania this time around. I believe that for a wrestling event to be good, there has to be at least three great matches. Here are my thoughts:
- Bad move on killing the WHC match. I'm not against Sheamus winning the title, but not this way. It felt like a bitch slap to not only both wrestlers but the crowd as well. The crowd loved Bryan, thery were even "Yes!" chants in the other matches. If Bryan was to lose the WHC, at least let both of them have a great match and mark a page in their history properly. Whoever thinks that ending matches like this it's funny or interesting need to smash their face with a brick.
- The Orton/Kane match was as expected, only that the other guy won. It could have ended with a RKO and still it would have been almost the same match. As jmason stated, it was a filler match.
- Momunonus team won, as expected. Even for a Diva's match, it was still pretty boring.
- I didn't expected to see Big Show with the Intercontinental championship. This was the match that really should have ended the way the WHC ended and still look great. It was like this match was more important than the WHC match, which it isn't...by far. Anyway, great for Show to finally have his Wrestlemania moment.
- The End of an Era match.....awesome. You guys have practically said everything that needs to be said about this match. You could say that, as a whole, it was the best match on 'Mania and better than last year's match. It really kept me at the edge of my seat, especially when Taker kicked out after receiving a Sweet Chin Music and a Pedigree at the same time. Lots of false finishes, which I like. Seeing those three icons together at the end of the match really left the message that it was indeed the end of that era.
- Johnny Ace's team won as expected and it was still a good match overall. One thing to note though, as soon as I saw Eve going together with Zack, I knew that she was going to be the cause of Team Teddy's lose.
Oh and Deftera, there is a great Hornswoggle kissing the floor moment in that match, a good one to add to that collection.
- The Punk/Jericho match was a good as I expected. Obviously, it was the best technical match in the event, as expected. That condition that Johnny Ace implanted before the match really upped the suspense of the match. I predicted that Punk was going to win it, but that new stipulation made me doubt that prediction, by a lot. Still, lots of false finishes, including the last submission holds but Punk came out the winner at the end with the Anaconda Vice. Overall, a truly great match from both of them.
- After seeing some artists who never in my life I have seen(and still won't care after that...), the Once in a Lifetime match came about. The reaction of the crowd elevated this match to a whole new level. As a match, it was decent but overall it was the greatest match in the event for many. I thought that honor went to Taker's match but both this one and Punk's match were pretty much even OVERALL. Anyways, never expected The Rock to win that one, but after kicking out that last FU and Cena then mocking the People's Elbow, I knew Rock was going to win it. Sorry, fruity pebbles troupe, boots to asses were delivered that night.
As a side note:
- I expected Cena to win that match and then Brock Lesnar attacking him afterwards. A situation that would make both Cena and Rock end well after The Rock saved Cena at the end or something. I mentioned Lesnar because he was rumored to be around the area, though I don't know if he was really present in the arena. It didn't happen but it ended better than I thought, with Rocky winning in the end.
- Also, I thought Lord Tensai would appear in Johnny Ace's match and cost Teddy's team the match. It would have been a better ending though.
Anyway, those were my thoughts. I think I'll give the event a 8/10. It would have been a 9 if the outcome of the WHC would have been different, and if the Diva's match was between Beth Phoenix and Kharma, for example.
edit: @Starwindkid...Great stuff. It really showed how personal the fans were involved in that match, even thought he was a kid. Sorry kid, he is still weak to kryptonite :)
-World Heavyweight Championship
Sheamus VS Daniel Bryan
One FUCKING Brogue Kick to become the new World Heavyweight Champion??!! WTFH?!!!
If they're building up Sheamus to be powerful and Bryan the weak cowardly heel, this is not the way it should be. So sad at this match up performance.
-Kane VS Randy Orton
I gotta say, damn time the supermen of WWE finally losing clean. The superman gimmick is over. Orton gets boring at times with his repetitive moves.
-Intercontinental Championship
Big Show VS Cody Rhodes
They're really now making BigShow a real power house, Cody couldn't even make a good comeback. Nice win for the new Intercontinental Champ Paul Wright.
-Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos VS Eve and Beth Phoenix
Meh....
-Hell in a Cell
The Undertaker VS Triple H
Nice new hair on Taker, back and forth matches, crowed booed and cheered when Shawn gave the sweet chin music to Taker and HHH gave him a Pedigree, still HHH loses to Taker 20-0. Both Undertaker and Shawn Michaels helped Triple H up and walk him out of the arena.
-Team Johnny beats Team Teddy
John Laurinaitis wins and Zack Ryder is given a big push. Eve-Hoooooooooooooooe~~~!!!!
-WWE Championship Match
CM Punk beats Chris Jericho
A very surprisingly technical match. In the end strait edge wins!
the crowd in Miami was ELECTRIC! the constant chants of YES! YES! YES! and NO! NO! NO! and DANIEL BRYANT! so awesome...pre and post wrestlemania RAWs are the best!
1. Fans have a finely tuned bullshit detector, and they know what's up. Hearing the YES chants from the crowd and sticking it to the live show, maybe someone in the back gets the hint.
2. Here comes the pain.
What I want to know is what the WWE is doing to John Cena and both major titles. Hear me out.
The way that Daniel Bryan lost the World Heavyweight title speaks for itself. That's two Wrestlemania's in a row where the World Heavyweight title prestige has diminished greatly. As someone previously stated, it seems like the IC belt means more than the WH belt now.
For WWE title, yes Jericho vs Punk is great and entertaining. But it is consistently being overshadowed by John Cena. Just check out yesterday's Raw and Wrestlemania and you'll see what I mean.
As for John Cena himself, just what the fuck is the WWE doing with him? Are they going to keep bring past greats back and have them get over him? Is it going to keep happening until Cena finally becomes a true heel? Who's next after Brock? Kurt Angle? Goldberg? Stone Cold?
Since it has now become cool to boo Cena, I'm more inclined to root for him than before. Not saying I will, but I like to go against the grain so to speak.

Hmm... so Brock Lesnar is another "guest" wrestler on WWE? If I did not remember wrongly, he was involved in mixed martial arts or something along those lines after he left WWE a few years ago.

he was...then he lost the UFC Heavyweight title and his match after that so he decided to quit. actually he left WWE to pursuit a football career in the NFL, but he didn't make it either and thats why he tried MMA instead and since that didn't work out he seems to be back in WWE. I have to say though, he can still hit the F5 fairly well!
