It is only a "weapon" if it is used as one otherwise it is a gun, rifle etc or toy in my case. well that is according to the NRA(National rifle association) I think they could call it a weapon when i'm hunting since it is killing animals. But if not killing anything its not a weapon.
I got to shoot a M16 about 2-3 weeks ago and its great. Also the marines just started using a new machine gun that owns the old one, the army still uses the old one since its expensive.
It also weirds me out with people always going thank you for what you are doing and stuff like that.
Not that war is good but we are america we love war well atleast to start them and then complain about it later. First everyone was for the war and now everyone is against it.
I also hope for the war(or new one) to stay going otherwise it is going to be a very boring 8 yrs in the marines(Since i have to go threw a yr of schooling and other crap for my job instead of 4 yr term i get 8.
Also people make it seem like so many people have died in iraq, around 4000 at the moment i think. When its nothing compared to how many terrorists we have killed and there way to kill us is to blow themselves up. which normally just injures one of our trucks and then we fix it and send it back out. wow i jump around in topics.
Well, the 4000 persons are american soldiers. However if you look at the civilian casualties so far since you started the iraq war the count looks way different allready. Between 55664 to 61369 are believed to have died during the war. I am not criticizing you for going against Saddam Hussein, but I do think that there were alot of civilian casualties invoked due to the war and due to the American policy in Iraq.
