First of all, your question is too broad to have a yes or no answer. You need to be more specific as to what sort of definition you are using for what a deity is, because there are so many interpretations and arguments for and against each. I'll try to answer the question for a few interpretations though, since you seem genuinely curious rather than inflammatory.

Some people believe that a deity is an all powerful/ or supernaturally powerful being that has direct influence upon the physical world. These are the groups that believe in prayer and that there is a being to punish the wicked and reward the good and so forth. In order to conclusively disprove such a deity, one would need to create a physical model of the universe that accounts for and explains every event and possible event, and then prove that all events in history and all future events correspond perfectly to this order and that no unnatural influence is present or possible.

Such a task is obviously impossible, due to our inability to observe events that have happened in the far past and events which are yet to happen and so the existence cannot be 100% discounted.

On the topic of proof, though, one would need evidence of events so miraculous that they are entirely impossible (literally 0% chance) as a natural occurence. However even with such evidence it may just mean that our model of understanding the universe was flawed and if that model can be readjusted to fit the new event then the existence of a supernatural entity would still remain unproven.


So it's pretty much impossible to prove of disprove the existence of ANY supernatural entity which directly alters the physical universe with 100% conclusiveness. But what about other interpretations of what it means to be a god?

Some beliefs incorporate a deity as an observer of sorts who watches and weighs but never interferes. Such a belief is even more impossible to prove/disprove (is that even something you can say? "more impossible"?) because there is no way of interacting with such an entity if it maintains separation with our physical universe.

In other interpretations the universe itself, or things like energy are interpreted as a sort of deity. In these interpretations the deity can be said to obviously exist, if one believes in our physical reality, but at this point it becomes more of a debate upon whether or not such things should be viewed in such a light, rather than a debate on their existence, although some would even argue about their existence. That itself, I think, shows the difficulty of arriving at any sort of conclusive 100% certain proof about ANYTHING, let alone something as mercurial as one's interpretation of the supernatural.



So then it becomes a question of "Is it possible to prove beyond a reasonable doubt" and this is where it gets interesting, because this is where faith stems from. Some people have a different threshold of what doubt and faith mean to them, and so to some people there IS a kind of certainty of belief. Some people, for example, have events occur around them that they choose to interpret as divine intervention or action, and are afterwards convinced personally in such an existence.

In the end there's really no answer, hence the many different religions you see in the world, and the many sections within each faith. The very notion of proving or disproving another's beliefs seems to me an arrogant notion, as many of us don't even know what to believe in our own lives, let alone have enough certainty to try to tell someone else that they are wrong to think what they think about such a multi-faceted subject with so many interpretations. I myself used to think I needed to convince people that religion was ignorant. I think this stemmed from self-righteousness, anonymity, and the fact I had never been able to have such arguments in my life before discovering online communities. It was a kind of ego boost to have someone agree with me that my group of thinkers was superior to another, but it was stemming from insecurity and immaturity.
