I dunno about more admins, but moderators would be fine I think. I mean, there are probably several of the regulars that wouldn't mind moderating. If my internet situation for the coming months wasn't so uncertain, I'd be a mod if it were requested of me.
But I'm kinda against using post counts to control download limits. Post counts are fine for other rewards like titles and such, but shouldn't affect what people can do on the site. I don't really think someone with a stupid number of posts, like myself, should have anymore power, privileges, etc. say then someone with relatively few posts.

No. Although I did push for it a while ago, we're not going to hire any moderators, and we certainly don't need more admins. If anything's an indicator of that, it's the fact the file server went down. Plus, to be honest, none of us feel like we need more moderators/admins. Who knows, though. If you contribute exceptionally to the site, you might get lucky.
And we have a solution to this problem. It just hasn't been implemented yet because, yes, it's more work for us.

I guess that's true, any sort of restriction placed on people would become more work. I was thinking about basing it on the Rep system, since users who contribute more tend to have a high Rep. But the level of work would probably be the same as with the alternatives.

Does this site even have any actual moderators? I can see that we have admins and we did have on mod for a while before there was "Contributor" status but I have not seen a single name in green font on the "Who is online" thing.
I don't really care if we get any mods or not since I don't have time anymore to be one (not to mention I don't frequent the site enough anymore really) and I don't think I've ever broken a rule on this forum but I really don't believe that having them would hurt anything. This isn't GameFAQs or anything.

I think that the advantageous downloading ability's should be given to people with people with a much higher postcount than that. Somewhere in the 500-1000 range. By then, obvious detrimental users will have been rooted out and deleted. Possibly higher downloading rights would be given to people who have proved their non-retardedness by making posts that get recognized by an administrator. But then again, that would make too much work for administrators, and lead to users complaining about an unfair system. Let's not dwell on the subject of how much/who should get the right to download, because most users will just twist it around into their favour.

Images are also a good idea and, combined with the post idea, makes it so you actually have to work some to get your reward. That being said, Raze / the others (you know who i mean) apparently have this idea to solve this problem. Lets wait and see. :P
