Fakku spaming

I'm glad that the motemote thing is over. All of those spammers = ...

I'm not saying I don't like motemote. I'm just saying I hated those spammers who tried to get 15 posts.

Being a regular on a few other forums, spam is an inevitable issue, even more so for Fakku, since prizes are given out for the MoteMote competition. Elsewhere, if a new, highly anticipated hentai game has been uploaded, a majority of the replies in that thread will made by unfamiliar members asking for help regarding installation or requests for the game to be uploaded on another host.

Looking on the bright side, I believe that out of all the new members who have signed up, a certain percentage will eventually become regulars on the site. Having spam all over the place can be annoying at times, but a quiet forum without any posts can be equally disturbing.

More spammers would also indicate the popularity of a particular site.

There are forums where it's a haven for spams. It's called "Junkers Heaven". As the name suggest, it's full of junk and spams. But the post does makes sense though, not just some retard post like "sadugoisudoifg43t84u" or "lol" or "kewl" or "u liek mudkips". They created free topics, any topics that can make any discussions. :p
As you said, spam is inevitable for any active forums. There wouldn't be forum without admins who scolded their member for useless post, flame, spams, etc.

Hibia says: This whole spam thing died off when the brackets making was cut off. New users (take for example Japadict) have been fairly active and not utter dickheads.
