Ok, this isn't a thread for listing blue laws, I only used them as an example to prove a point to someone else. I'm asking what laws have given YOU trouble or make YOU angry.
I basically abhor any law that involves a victim-less crime, violates civil liberties, is arbitrary, legislates taste, or was tailor-made for only one person or tiny special interest group.
PS: In college, a co-student of mine was fined $300 for standing on the sidewalk, because the sidewalk is not a sidestand.
This is a GOOD example of what I'm talking about.^

As for taxi's yeah somebody should appeal to that one, best chance for that is to go up to your town hall and get it revised before you get ticketed.

Prostitution is illegal. I find this completely absurd. If a woman (or a man) wants to accept money in exchange of sexual favors, that's her/his fucking business. What should be illegal though (and only that), is for prostitutes to roam the streets and harass pedestrians. I'm all for prostitution, but in regulated brothels.

There are such things as bad laws (which usually will have a good law come up to counter it.), but strange laws (well, I can't remember what state or county but there was law where everyone had to smile no matter what...). Sometimes we're satisfied with them, sometimes we're unhappy with them.
