I believe that virginity is something is that self-judged, and thus there shouldn't be a set standard. Virginity is a word that has a feeling of innocence, and unexperienced. If the person engages in certain activities that they feel have a great amount of "sexual significance", if you will, then it is up to them to decide whether they have lost their virginity. If a person doesn't view fellatio as sex, and he/she engages in fellatio, then then they are not a virgin. Of course, a person who engages in vaginal intercourse is NOT a virgin, no matter what they say, since vaginal intercourse is the basic definition of sex.
I agree with this point. Virginity is not only the representation of a person's innocence but more to their lack of experience. Therefore, the concept of verginity should not only be a representation of wether or not you have partaken in intercourse but should also define your experience and knowledge of your sexual needs.
