When we get to a point were we can safely augment the human body, should we allow it, restrict it or ban it all together. To clarify, I don't mean plastic surgery or prostheses, but bio-mechanics. Such as a robotic leg or putting a x-ray eye in someone. (even though that would be sweet!)
Not just going to have a "Dues Ex"-Shout there?
Anywhat, Human Augmentation would be something..
If ever used in war, it would cause to many problems, and lead any state to death.
I could only ever agree with it being used for poeple who've lost body parts out of no choice of thier own. By that I mean someone who lost a part, though doing stupid shit, is out of luck. But someone who had been attacked, shot, what-have-you, should be given the choice with augments.
another thing is that Bio-mechanics is that Prosthese can do it just as well. with less rescources too, Its just about techinology and using the brain with machine.
Anywhat, I belive restriction would be NEEDED. but I doubt that could happen anywhere outside of a video game.. Right, goverment?
