Keep It Serious
This isn't the place for YouTube videos, one-answer questions with little to no debate in them or threads with no real topic. If you have nothing to add,
say nothing at all or your post will be deleted with no comment on the matter.
Thanks for the negative rep though. Also no more derailing.
Relax, pal. Apparently you didn't see the latter half of my post.
Let me expand upon it...you know, so as not to "derail" this Dr. Phil-esque thread:
America, in some respects, is still stuck in this 50s-era mental where women are still fighting for equality and to break free from stereotypes. We see it in the workplace, we see it media, and just about everywhere else. There is still this stipulation that women should be dainty, eloquent, and doll-like. In other parts of the world sex isn't so taboo...at least not so much as it is in the US. And pending OP is referring to women within North America, the it's perfectly normal to have these thoughts. Regardless, it is perfectly normal for women residing anywhere else in the world for that matter. However, it is a lot more confusing living/growing up in North America with these thoughts due to personal family standards and perceptions, the upbringings of our parents and their parents, and the impact it has on us, their offspring. The reason being: North American territories still seem a bit behind the times when it comes to sheltering their youth, and at the same time there is the US media that tells you to be thin and sexy through million-dollar ad campaigns, radio and television. It is this same media in the US that will oust you as a sexual deviant or pariah because you bit the bitter fruit they cultivated and sold you.
In my opinion, yes OP, it is perfectly normal for women to have perverted thoughts or to be perverted so long as - and it was previously stated in this thread - they do not harm others. The way we are brought up, raised and sheltered is mostly for our own good, but it doesn't help in this day and age that we are exposed to so much sex and violence through medial and art. You are told one thing and presented with another. There are a lot of pressures out there, but so long as we exercise good judgement and not act on foolish impulse, we'll be just fine. Having these thoughts or being perverted doesn't make someone a weirdo or some psycho, it's just who you are and I am sure that it is perfectly normal. It is the media that marks you as some creepy sexual deviant. Keep in mind that previous generations didn't have the anonymity of forums and such. So it was a lot harder to discuss things of this nature. So who is to say that a good majority of them didn't have similar thoughts? Again, just keep in mind that as long as the aforementioned note about not harming others and exercising good judgement is understood then it really isn't an issue. When all is said and done you're on FAKKU! with probably more like-minded people than you think. :)
