I hope it's okay! I just wish other girls were more open about sexual things ^^;; i think i'm the only one who is willing to be open about watching porn and stuff. It's kind of sad because the are still double standards, girls can be just as perverted as guys :P

Not at all, perverted is just sexual deviance from the norm. Someone liking a different kind of sex is like someone liking a different hair color. Some people just like the metaphorically bright-hued hairs.

Eh I'm a girl and quite enjoy the naughtier things in life, but then again I do so with one person and that's it. Other then that I'll openly talk about sex and such with other people so long as they aren't getting the wrong idea 'cause it's just fun to be a bit of a pervert. So yea I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to be a so-called pervert as a female so long as like godsend says it's not taken way over board...

I find nothing wrong with a sexually open female, however I will admit that there exists in my mind a natural bias whereas I'm less likely to think of a sexually open female as a candidate for a long and meaningful relationship as opposed to a short-term fling. It's just my personal mentality.

It's mainly just about individual beliefs. The things we've been told to avoid and the stereotypes we've learned as we grew. I'm sure there's someone out there (maybe even on our own forum) that believes the above sample is a-okay. What crosses the threshold is an individual choice.

Society, on the other hand, can blow me. Social norms are dictated by popular opinion, and the problem with popular opinion is that there's always another opinion being denied.

But social norms are like water in a river. They can change. Not just can, but they will. Who knows, maybe 50 years from now it'll be okay to flash people in the park. Whatever floats their boat.

I'm fairly sure that it stems from religion's heavy influence on earlier society, which typically dictates women to act much more conservitively, on showing any kind of interest in sex purely for having children. Now, I wouldn't ever call a perverted girl anything but awesome, depending on if she sleeps around, or just likes sex. Me, I'm quite the pervert, but I wouldn't ever have sex with a girl that I wasn't ready to dedicate myself to. I guess you can say perversion often makes sex seem like a casual thing, which would lead to such insults. I figure that it wouldn't be too good for guys either, considering plenty of male perverts are called creeps and such. What I'm trying to say is that there's a kind of perversion where, like me, you like sex more than the average human being, and then there's the one that ends up in the labels, which is when people just have sex with whoever so they can get off.

Truth is girls are a lot more "perverse" than any of them are willing to admit, because having sexual interests and Urges are fricking natural! but because of our society we are taught to feel shame because girls are not supposed to be autonomous sexual beings-- but passive sexual objects. We are not supposed to want we are supposed to be wanted... blah blah blah. It's total bullshit.
