If there isn't, there wouldn't be something we all know called "Law". But, that doesn't mean you can't question law.
Law is not necessarily the same as right. Law is what the "powers that be" see as right.
What's the difference? What "the powers see" as right may not necessarily be right to you, or me, but it's still right for those who made it.
The title of this thread asks if there is A right and A wrong, not if there are many different versions of right and wrong. This leads me to believe they are asking if there is a right and wrong independent of law. And law changes consistently, and is not consistent from state to state, never mind country to country. I think we're talking about something more consistent than something that changes from city to city. But by all means, if the OP means "is there a right and a wrong and if so, do they change like ripples on the lake to meet the needs of ruling politicians", then you got me there.
Is there a right and a wrong? Yes, and it comes in different versions.
At the end of the day, OP is asking if there are something called "right" and "wrong". My answer, as you know, is "
Yes, there is, and it comes with different versions of it".
Another question might be "Is there something that all human being agreed on as "right" and "wrong"?", then my answer would change to "
No".
