@Aion Crux: You really don't see my point, do you? On top of that, your twisting my words and misconstruing my argument. What I meant by "saving her regardless of the situation" is that you should take any means necessary to save her, like creeping up behind the guy and knock him out, or throw a rock at him, or distract his attention by yelling, or bait him by walking up him and say, "Can I join" or something weird and his surprise, you give him his just punishment, etc. etc. Need I state the list of alternatives of handling the situation by yourself? There's nothing more shameful and cowardly than being a bystander who clearly has the power to do something right here right now. And as I mentioned before, the cops should be the last backup plan because you won't know when and where they'll come. The rapist's dangerous and got weapons? Boohoo, you lack balls, improvisation skills, as well as a brain. You think the rapist will actually have the opportunity to use a weapon on you, let alone wield it? Or use it on the victim? My main point is that to "call the police, walk away, and resume life," is total bull. This is about having human morals, the moral to the do right thing when you have the power to do so. And I shouldn't have to list the possible scenarios that can play out.

Theory is fine and all, but quite a few people would freeze up if they actually saw it happening, then lose it in a berserker charge that might just make the situation worse.

I cannot say I've had any sort of experience in rape-prevention, but I'm an expert Paintball player, so I can keep my cool in stressful situations.

Not that large-scale paintball battles are the same as a rape scene, where I would have no teammates to command, but any sort of experience is preferable to none, right?

Let me just say one more time so it'll sink into your head. I think rape is a terrible thing. I find the fact that people make rape porn and hentai disturbing and the fact that several guys like to watch it disturbing. I acknowledge that there couples that replicate rape scenes as a turn-on, and while I find that a bit weird, my argument is not directed at them nor is my stance directed at those who like gangbanging or group sex because that's something completely different in my eyes.

Really? I hope that is a serious almost in there, because that doesn't hurt my feelings at all, I actually enjoy the chance to sharpen my "teeth" on someone who is clearly wrong, it makes me feel better about myself at the very least, and improves my arguing skills (something very important to me, as a gamer) which is something I hold to great value.
