Well I have 2 quotes that stay with me at all times, they may be from fictional characters but I don't think that it should matter.
1: "no story is not worth hearing." - Angeal Hewly; I keep this with me at all times because it encourages me to listen to people and their experiences so that I may learn from them and grow as a person.

2: "freedom sure is pricey. Never lose your your dreams and whatever the circumstance never let go of your pride as SOLDIER!" - Zack Fair; I keep this qoute with me because it rings true as to what you should do in life, and that is have a dream that you truly want and never give up on it and whatever happens do not lose the pride you have for the dream you have.

I don't really have a quote that had such impact on me that it stayed in my head.
However I tend to say something to my friends that stayed in atleast one of my friends head forever.
