It impacts me because I've gone through a lot in my life. Have met a lot of wrong people. But you know what? I've also experienced a lot of positive. In fact I feel better now than I ever have after learning to just let go. I'm too strong of a person to let a painful experience consume me. Instead I'm going to let it strengthen and better me and come back with my head held high.

Helps to come down and have a cold heart and clear mind. Keeps personal\emotional involvement to a minimum, allowing to evaluate things like ethics, morals, social integrity, love, hatred, etc personally rather than accepting whatever is the prevailing thought on those.

To pull your power from despair and prove to the world you are strong in heart and mind is something that has profoundly inluenced me since my young age.

Sometimes I wonder if it was the commanders zeal that has made the world's history bloody, or the follower's zeal.

The reason this impacts me is because, it reminds me that if you want something that you should risk anything to make that dream happen.

This whole speech in general (called "To live at all is miracle enough"), just... impacted me. Because it makes you think of just how amazingly the whole universe works, all the things that had to happen in order for you to be born, it is quite surprising if you think about it, and I think it really makes you value your life. This quote made me shiver, literally. It's a fact, no matter what job or what degree we all have, at the end of the day, we're doing it for a roof over our head and foods for survival. It's harsh, but it's true.

This stuff is nothing, compared to others who don't even have the chance of going to Uni. I just realized that. I was so busy mourning and belittling myself I didn't get to see the big picture.

I think this is pretty interesting because it talks about the possibility of becoming like 'what you're trying to fight against', be it corruption, greed, disrespect for life, and so on...
