Racism/Sexism Isn't Okay If Its Against Straight White Men

Bahar Mustafa, the University Diversity Officer of Goldsmith's University in the United Kingdom has made very public and hateful comments toward a racial subtype and also sexist comments of misandry. This "statement" was to exclude people from a social gathering according to their racial type and sex; which remarkably was to discuss Goldsmiths Universities diversity policies. Furthermore, the killing of the white race for reasons unknown.

After planning attempts to "diversify" the campus of Goldsmiths, Bahar Mustafa posted the following on Facebook:

“If you’ve been invited and you’re a man and/or white PLEASE DON’T COME just cos I invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME [Black and Minority Ethnic] Women and non-binary event only,”

She later posted a photo of herself wiping away fake tears near a sign reading “No White Cis Men Please.” Beneath the sign posted on the university owned rooms is a collection cup of "white male tears".

She has also consistently used hash-tags such as #killallwhitemen and #misandry, and publically calling someone †˜white trash’ under the official GSU Welfare and Diversity Officer twitter account."

To defend her actions she said in a You Tube video: "There have been charges made against me that I am racist and sexist to white men…"

"I, an ethnic minority woman, cannot be racist or sexist towards white men because racism and sexism describe structures of privilege based on race and gender and therefore women of colour and minority genders cannot be racist or sexist, since we do not stand to benefit from such a system."

"We will not be silenced; we are militant. The world is not ready for minorities to challenge the status quo, but resistance to our resistance is futile,” she added.

I am extremely disturbed and frightened by a university law graduate with a position of authority at this university openly practicing discriminatory policies in an education institution and advocating the killing of people based on their gender and ethnicity, particularly as that gender and ethnicity are my own.

Please sign the petition at the top of this post and prove that anti-hate and anti-discrimination policies protect men and white people and non just non-whites and females.

Honestly, this whole 'I can't be racist to whites because I don't benefit from the system,' is such bullshit. True, we can't benefit from a system that was built on the backbone of Africans (cough America cough.) But in order to be racist, we need the mindset to think our race is superior to another. I don't even think she's being racist, she's being a prejudiced asshole who has no meaning of the word 'diversity.' Furthermore, I can agree with you there, I'm worried that we'll be living in an exclusivist society where everyone is categorized and where gender, religion, race etc will have an unnecessary impact on us (to the point where someone's sexuality is shoved down our throats constantly.)

Superiority doesn't always have to do with economic and "social" status. Playing the victim card based on ethnicity or gender is claiming that you deserve special treatment. People who get special treatment are of a protected class, protected class is superior to ordinary people. Follow the train of logic and we see that playing the victim card for race or gender is claiming you are superior.

Why is she being racist because she's making broad generalizations about a race without knowing anything about said individual in of that race. It takes special snowflake university and college kids to think they're oppressed without even bothering to look at how other people live. I've been accused of being cis white scum male, yet not a single one of those who've called me that have bothered to get to know that I grew up in low income, with abusive parents, stole to eat, violence most of my life, been abused my a lover, etc, etc. I've walked a tough enough road to not put up with shit from people like that.

In all seriousness though, while I do believe there is a such thing as White privilege (such as the continual power of legacies in our ivy league schools, mostly from WASPS and the continued legacy of the racist southern elements that purposely disenfranchise women and blacks to enrich themselves), it's eroding fast and it's not in the way that Bahar Mustafa thinks it is, and what she is doing isn't a solution for diversity.

And while I do resect opinions (no matter how repulsive), I don't think using a public institution for pushing your views instead of the common interest is a good idea. People can believe or say whatever they want. People cannot impose those beliefs on others.

I won't sign it until white straight males become the underpriveledged minority. That particular group of people happen to already be at the top of the food chain. There's absolutely nothing they have to fear or be offended about in regard to their race/sex/sexual orientation. With that said, I don't agree with what this woman said or how she feels about ethnicity in general. I just don't care that she targeted white straight males to have that kind of extreme hate towards. Its wrong of course, but I don't feel any empathy considering there are white supremacy groups out there that have a history of causing damage to the mental state of minorities over a gradually long period of time.

America wasn't built on the labor of slaves. Not the NorthEast, not the West/Pacific or Midwest. Great British Empire, despite being a world power with many colonies took plenty of measures to stop practices of slave trade throughout most of the world. No the US is by no means perfect, and it can't protect everyone at the individual level, but it's a much better alternative to many places. To say the US does nothing for the citizens makes you look like an edgy retard. If anything, us blacks have been coddled for too long. Disproportionate amount of welfare and social programs, race based quotas rather than merit based acceptance, etc. etc. There's better things the US can do regarding crimes and us Black people like ending the War on Drugs and reforming the incarnation process, but not just black people are affected. That's not to say being male doesn't have advantages, but male privileges are checked, very frequently, and many people make large incidents out of anything beneficial to them that happens at the expense of others, and say it's because of 'male privilege', and not the fact that this is a capitalistic, competitive society.

If people did the opposite even half as often, and made an issue out of female privilege maybe even 1/4 as often, I would start to understand (some, not much) of the feminazi bullshit being flung around.

When I say things like minority and majority, I'm looking at a sample size. Yes you're white, straight, male and just so happen to have been delt the short end of the straw, however that can't be said for the "majority". For one reason or another, many black minorities have fairly low IQs compared to other races. One theory is that, slave masters bred only strong slaves and killed the ones who happened to be smart, but had no physical worth. Another theory is that caucasians interbred with Neanderthals when they migrated out of Africa, so their mental capabilities slightly improved in contrast to their African ancestors who remained in their homeland. Its unfortunate, but test scores don't lie.

When I was still in college, the professors would sugar coat this issue by saying its a cultural gap that prevents Africans from doing well on IQ tests. Even though I seem educated, I'm not. My IQ tests were borderline below average (I don't even want to talk about my SAT scores.) and I dropped out of college during my senior year. It should be blatantly obvious if you take a look around that straight, white, males are still for the most part in power. Flip the channels on your tv and most of the media is inspired by white, straight, males. What do women and minorities have? Oxygen and BET X_X....
