Well it says in the book she is dark skinned so I don't understand why anyone would be upset. And on a side note my black friend (who is as big than Tresh) just laughed at all this and said "She was black so she was going to die."
Considering the premise, everyone who isn't the main character is pretty much doomed already so it's not a shock the black guy/girl dies at some point.
And this controversy hilariously reminds me of the time my best friend was telling me about some HP fanfics and somehow we got onto the topic of Blaise Zabini and since no one knew what Blaise looked like, they just had all kinds of images for him, including one that made him into a hot blonde chick with blue eyes that was dating Malfoy. At which point I looked at him and said, "Dude, Blaise is black."
"Really?"
"Yeah. It said so in the very first book; he was the last in Harry's year to get sorted. Blaise is a black guy."
While it's nice that people read, they
really need to work on comprehension skills something fierce.
