I'll agree to disagree at this point, sure.
I didn't bother opening that link because I figured it was just another one of those biased questionnaires that give results based on one mindset. This is actually the reason I never take any "How ( ) are you?!" tests regardless of what the topic at hand is.
I can tell you that none of my friends, save for my brother, think on the same path that I do in almost all categories. They are, however, people that can change their thinking based on logic, as I've done to them many times to think differently on many different concepts. This is the reason I asked you to do more research or testing or polls. If they can't even be remotely convinced despite me reading your theory word for word, then I came to the conclusion that you need more facts or opinions. I assure you I didn't add anything like "Doesn't this sound silly" to them, as I'm actually open to new ideas as long as they make sense or can be improved to make sense. I don't have generally simplistic views on everything, sexuality is just one of those things I choose not to pay that much attention to, because if someone tell me they're gay/straight/bi, I'm not going to ask them "How much of each?". I'm just going to say "Alright". I can also assure you they don't have the same narcissistic tendencies as I do. Maybe they have the same tendencies as each other, but certainly not the same as I. I was forced to take a standardized narcissism test once in high school or so, and my score would tell anyone that if anything, I actually ~need~ more narcissism, as too little is apparently unhealthy. One of my companions is a homosexual (To this I said "Okay.") and even he didn't see how such a conclusion could be come up with. I try to get opinions from all sources, so I asked him because I figured "Of course people who call themselves straight wouldn't admit to being partially homosexual". The response was certainly unexpected. And if you don't want me to misunderstand your statement, then don't actually edit my response to what you misunderstood it as.
Of course I didn't meet those people, but I do know there is a condition that's believed to erase all morality from a person. I didn't mention complete morality because I said "In fact,". As in the prior sentence is biased regardless because everyone has their own concept of moral/immoral things. I thought this was implied but I digress.
I'm not saying that sexuality is black and white, I'm saying that from what I've heard, and in my opinion, it's much easier to just make it black or white, as getting into the specifics is sometimes inappropriate depending on how you say it, and may make yourself or others uncomfortable or just plain confused. I don't despise percentages in general, no. I don't despise percentages not even in this case. I just find them unnecessary because I'd rather someone just tell me their sexual orientation and leave it at that, rather than get into specifics I really don't care about because I generally don't care about the sexuality of others at all. I'm also not saying percentiles are just stupid in general or anything. I actually think you may be on to something here, you just need more evidence or facts to support it, rather than these off the wall propositions.
I never say "most" or "all", because I can't speak for everybody, hence the reason I said "many", because of everyone I talked to, nobody believed it for a second. So putting it in terms of percentages, 100% either didn't understand it or thought it was complete rubbish. I very well can't go to everyone in the world and ask them about it personally, but as I'm sure you've learned in Statistics, is that it's easier to get results from a selected group of people if you can't immediately question millions of people.
I respond because you leave room for debate. And since SD is for debates and the discussion of different propositions or theories, then I reply. I'd hate to just leave you hanging in case you wanted me to respond to something. And once again, as I've said before. I haven't labeled myself "straight with no homosexual tendencies". I haven't really labeled myself at all in terms of sexuality because I honestly wouldn't care if I was 100% gay or 50/50 Bi. If other people were to label me, while actually knowing me, they'd call me an asexual if anything. I've been approached with sex a few times before, and completely ignored the person in question, or dismissed them. I have a condition in which I seldom see myself at all, and if you were to ask me how my day went or how am I doing, I honestly wouldn't be able to answer the question properly, despite how simple other people make it seem. In cases like these, I either say "It sure was" or "I sure am", which people find not to be an even remotely valid response but I digress.
It's not uncommon for someone to misunderstand anyone else, so you'll have to excuse me for being human. The reason I ask these questions or give my input is ~BECAUSE~ I don't understand fully the context of your statements, so it's only natural for me to say something you find out of context. I understand the simple version, I just don't understand the reasoning behind it. I thought the purpose was to go beyond a simplistic approach, so of course I can't fully understand the simple version of such a complex theory. I wouldn't say that I'm in denial about having homosexual tendencies, because I don't pay enough attention to myself personally to know anything like that. Despite how much I say otherwise, you still seem to have this thought in your head where I'm saying I'm 200% Straight, with no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I assure you that is not the case. In terms of understanding sexuality, I'd say you have some research to do as well, as I've been saying this entire time. This debate could be fruitless in the case that since sexuality cannot be completely understood by any one person despite how hard they may try, we're both right and both wrong. In the case where the 100% specifics aren't known, or even 75% , it's easier to temporarily make it black or white until we can understand it.
Yes, they're all sexual, but he made it seem almost as if they were pretty much the same thing, as if everyone just nonchalantly rolls into a stationary ball like Sonic in crazy glue, and performs oral sex on themselves. Something like this takes talent and effort. I'm not denying they're all sexual, they're just not in direct relation to each other.
I hope this has cleared up any confusion so we can better understand each other. If you have any other thoughts, suggestions, or questions, feel free to let me know so I can elaborate on what you don't understand, as you've done for me.
