Be it your loved one, or a family member...a friend you've known for a long time, or a friend whom you've had for a week/month, or simply "someone you know"...whatever the case is, being ignored isn't a pleasant experience.
Never a pleasant experience. It makes me feel uneasy and a bit slighted.

The frustration...rage even, from saying something (important or not) to someone and getting no reply, you'll always have a reaction for it. How do you feel when it happens? How do you deal with it? What do you do to get that person to listen to you?
The more important and loved a person is to me, the more reaction I have and the greater I feel when they ignore me. I deal with it accordingly depending on what I said/did and the importance of my message. If their ignoring me is not by purpose, I shrug it off, but if it's on purpose... it's sometimes sad when people ignore you on purpose. Usually when I sense that's the case, I go by the last-reply rule for me: I say/do it again on the same medium to that person. If he/she ignores me again, fine, thanks.
