What's your typical view on ALIENS?

here is my theory:

in this ever expanding universe there are an infinate amount of planets and solar systems and on one of these we exsist now because there are so many who is to say that there isn't another planet that harbours intelligent life of life what so ever so in conclusion... we are not alone

I prefer Spore's idea. The videos seem more like a sci-fi novel's plot, or maybe some TV show like Stargate or something.

lol you know this guy who's talking and presenting these thesis wrote a lot of books, his first book containing this ideas was published in the 1960's.

Stargate is based on his books ;) and what he and all the toher scientists say makes sense, even if some poeple don't wanna hear it :)

I heared some rumors but I don´t think they are true.

unfortunately i dont think so either it kinda just abruptly got taken off the air over here and i have to watch it on the Internet

well I read that the old seasons will be running on nick network again an 8 september 2008.

But that doesn´t help anyone, maybe some day when I have enough money I will by the rights for the whole idea and produce a sequel :lol:

I hope aliens exist, if only so that we have something else to fight. I hope that we wouldn't have to though.

i believe they exists somewhere out there,watching us.

but i can't give any general idea how they looks like or their personalities or their technology or anything about them because my general idea of aliens is fucked up thanks to hollywood.

My typical view of aliens is that there are very few that would even come close to our conceptions of them. It would seem that all, or nearly all, of our beliefs about aliens stem from some naive, egocentric perspective. They're watching us, they want to destroy us, they're the progenitors of our species, or that they have any interest whatsoever in our very existence. I mean come on. Are humans that amazing that species from other planetary systems are compelled to spy on us and even interfere with our lives. The truth about them is simple. They are living things and they exist in various forms. The possibility of some alien race being the progenitor of our species isn't totally insane, but concerning any of those theories there is one question that arises, "What kind of sick fucking extraterrestrial perverts would travel light years in order to fuck monkeys?"

I do believe there are something out there other then ourselves, but the fact is, if they wanted anything to do with us, they would've already made contact.

They might be under evolved or an advanced species of creatures, who knows. The only thing we know, is that this Universe is too big to be able to tell.

I hardly believe that we will ever see Aliens or any of the further generations for that matter. It takes too long from anything out of our solar system to reach us anyways.

In all seriousness, there's little doubt in my mind that there are extraterrestials out there, but to think they have an agenda because we're so damn special is a bit egoistic. Even if we do end up fighting some alien race, how are we gonna fight against something that traveled light years to reach us? Warheads that'll splatter radioactive waste back at us?

Ahhh, I think I have a script. (sarcasm)
