What's your typical view on ALIENS?

I'm pretty sure a lot of the "lower" life forms are laughing at us too.

I belive there's some kind of lifeform out there except us, considering how big the universer is.

Aliens = Real, if we exist because of some random chance that we evolved then there is just as likely a chance that their is a sister planet out there developing just like us. and that fact freaks me out because all the aliens that are in movies still havent desensitized me to alien violence, if aliens came to earth id be screamin my freakin head off. unless they came peacibly, speaking english, and then id still be suspicious.

I don't think we're the only ones in the universe.
Why should we? When we exist why shouldn't they too?
But I also don't think that they're just evil, gory monsters that are just out to kill us little humans.
Actually we are the ones who make fun of them, display them as evil, creating games where we shoot them.
Probably they're living similar to us (just with spaceships :wink: ).
Maybe they're good maybe they're bad we can't tell until we met one.
But surely they're not as evil as we think they are.

I will be suspicious none the less no matter what they look like or what they do!

Honestly I can say that I know there are.. 'aliens' out in the universe.. the universe is just too damn big for JUST us.

Then there is the general view from the governments.. if aliens were ever gonna visit, there will be a thought of "shoot first ask later" mentality and or "capture and examine" both which poses a lot of problems.

Finally if there was a invasion of whatever sort for our degraded resources, wouldn't you think they could easily infiltrate and simply lay down a blanket virus that leaves the planet barren of human life? :P

There are two general ways of thinking regarding life on other planets. The one that seems most popular here is that the universe is so expansive, and if it is possible for life to exist here, than probability would dictate that there has to be life outside of what we know somewhere in the universe.
The other way of thinking would be that the conditions for life to exist are too rare to happen anywhere else, and the probability for life in the universe at all is so low that we must be the only life in it.

If a alien come to visit our planet, for sure he try to stay away... if you see some movies, the humans are the more dangerous thing for an alien.

Perhaps, but the universe is so expansive and there are so many galaxies and star systems out there, the likelihood that Earth is the only planet that fulfills the conditions for life to exist is a little bit myopic. First of all, on Earth there are a multitude of species that require varied environments for survival. You also have to consider the possibility of extraterrestrial life possessing an alternative biochemistry to our own. Added to that there are a vast number of theories and hypotheses regarding the origin of life that could, while inapplicable to our own origins, could be applicable to extraterrestrial life.
