i do not blame for the security of the cruise. What i meant is, in this case onward we the people, the society and the company must learn. When some one in ur house as a guest then u will take responsibility 4 them whatever ist the case or the cause. And at our case was a customer u see? my point is improvement whether facility or crew that can ensure more safety in the long run. When we point some one to blame its became run in the circle, and i think its pointless,
Yeah, it's our responsibility to learn from past experiences, yes. The thing is, there is a limit to it. You can't expect the cruise line to line the walls and floor with soft padding, assign a baby sitter for every passenger, WATCH them every step they take, all to ensure they're safety. They also can't be held responsible if a person manages to purposely hurt themselves, or goes against any of the safety regulations.
Like I said about the toppling vending machine, there is a no tilt sign on the dang thing. If the person ignores that and shakes the machine, and the thing falls on him and he looses his legs, well, it's his fault. The cruise line cannot be held responsible for a person's actions. The cruise line isn't to be blamed if a passenger commits suicide in a room, that person was acting of his own accord, outside of the knowledge of anyone else on that ship. So if a woman who can't hold her liquor can't keep her balance, then she should stay away from the balcony.
The thing is, in cases like these, there is normally a person at fault. For this woman, She was drunk, and made some choices that resulted in the current situation. What you imply is that this situation could have been avoidable, if on parts on the woman and the cruise line. In reality, she is the only one who could have stopped it, there was nothing they could have done that could have stopped her. Cut off her drinks? Then this would be a case where the cruise was denying her business. The sailors and employees on the ship do not have absolute authority, they are only allowed to make suggestions to the passengers, and may only take action when they have violated the rules they have agreed upon.
