Well there are two ways to check and with both of them there is a large margin of error. One is the forum search, which I find a unreliable, and second is the master list that is very well organized but it can be very easy to miss things if you just skim it.

No, all of those are the game files. Read this to figure out how to install your game, and once you do put the patch on the newly installed game (the patch was on that on post near the bottom of the 1st page of this thread). Also, I would suggest downloading the game from this thread, since KLoWn's uploads don't usually expire (except when flagged).
