Okami 2 and Onimusha 5 is what I want... For now I'm happy we're getting Bayonetta 2 though.
I think Onimusha deserves an honorable sendoff at this point, the game got pretty bland at four. Okami 2 is probably never happening, or if it does I'll be too busy dealing with rictus and a failing liver to try it. There was that vague hint by one of the former members of Clover almost a year ago on twitter that they were going to do something exciting and nothing happened.
Bayonetta 2: The rebirth of Frank Sinatra. Too bad I don't have a WiiU but seeing the game is exciting nonetheless.
1. You get both games
2. Option Touch controls for both games
3. Nintendo themed skins
4. Choice of Japanese or English voices
5. 60 FPS
6. Off TV Play for both.
This is a MUST BUY game. I'm getting it day one. Also, online co-op confirmed for Bayonetta 2.
Too bad I don't have a WiiU.
The game looks great and I enjoyed playing the first one, just a shame that the only way I can play this is if I got an entire console.
Bayonetta will get to pilot some sort of a mech in Bayonetta 2, Nintendo and PlatinumGames revealed today on Nintendo’s Treehouse live-stream.
According to director Yusuke Hashimoto, the mech doesn’t control all that differently from Bayonetta herself. Punches can go into bullet attacks, kicks can go into a strong blast attack.
Like Bayonetta, the mech attacks using both hands and feet. It has machineguns on its hands and some sort of shotgun-like weapon on its legs.

>Cuhrazy action game now has mechs
The good news just keeps up piling up.

It's shaping up to have the best 1st party line up of this gen. The "buy for this game only" excuse doesn't really make sense anymore. The Wondeful 101 was directed by the same guy who made Bayonetta, and it puts a fresh spin on the genre, if you're looking forward to Bayo 2, then you have to put w101 on your list too.
Even if you don't buy one in right now(the Mario Kart 8 bundle comes with another free game), I think Nintendo will retain that promotion for another big release.
I think they would have to TRY and ruin Bayonetta at this point, even if the story is garbage I'm pretty sure the game's other areas will make it a WiiU must-have.
Anyway, I know these articles are a few months old, but I figured they should be put here in this thread to show just much effort is being put into this game to make it even better than the first.
Holy shit at all the review scores. I didn't expect this.
So glad I have a Wii U. I finally got around to pre-ordering this and also bought Wonderful 101 at the same time. I need my Platinum goodness!
Oh man, Bayonetta 2, Pokemon ORAS, Smash Bros Wii U, Captain Toad and MK8 DLC all being released within the next two months. RIP social and student life.
North American Bayonetta 2 Site Open, Confirms Separate Disc For Bayonetta 1
At this point it was practically a sure thing, but the North American Bayonetta 2 site – which is now fully open by the way – officially confirms that Bayonetta 1 will come on a separate disc. You can find the disc art for both games above. Like we mentioned last week, Bayonetta’s distribution on the eShop will be a bit different. You’ll first need to purchase Bayonetta 2 for $50, and then the original game for $10.†‹
