Hmmm I cannot complete the last stage for the Rance 2 game. The old man tells you to knock on the mansion twice, then take a deep breath and knock again and it will open. well there is only 2 options to choose from, knocking and entering so I tried knocking 3 times, won't let me in. Try 2 times and a pause then once again. Still won't let me in. Is there something I am missing?

Daiteikoku is a adaptation of World War 2, and Ireland wasn't a "player" in WW 2.

Damn! Its Over 3gb O.o and Rance2 is what 10-30 hours of game.Is there another way to download only Rance2?

How do you get the ruby from the dead body? I can't seem to get the option to show up.Try taking the weapon again (I had to do it twice). That is what I did and when he throws the weapon back at the corpse, the ruby will drop.

Im getting an error that was described earlier (rather poorly). After the game starts, it goes through the start video. After that ends I get a grey screen. It says CG something or other in the middle ish and in the Upper Right corner it shows the function list from the start screen (I assume) Start, Load, CG, etc. But none of the buttons actually work.
I know its not one of the two errors I see people talking about, Japanese Unicode, or not using the patch.bat properly. Tho, I did do those improperly at first, but I didnt think I could corrupt a file like that. Any helpful hints? Im gonna try a reinstall in the meanwhile.

Patch
When extracting, you were supposed to get the files and not a folder. Either take out the files from the folder into the ランスï¼ï¼’ folder, or download the new version without the extra folder.
Just place all the files onto the folder with all of the Rance 2 games stuff. Ie. ...\AliceSoft 2010\ランスï¼ï¼’
Run Patch.bat and wait for it to close itself. Then it's done patching.
The patch I downloaded from the translator's site didn't work but this one did.

Do we need the alice 2010 1.1 patch to play rance 2? (I can not get to the alice website because it says japan only) I also have the problem mentioned earlier and even after following your advice nothing changed (patching then removing the items from the folder). Do you have any other suggestions?
