What really bothers me in MW2 is that there are 40 guns in the game, yet only 5 get used by everyone.

I use LMGs all the time, and I never notice anyone else using them

I only use LMG's. For sniping, close quarters, ... everything. You can ask holic or Falcon if you dont believe me.

What can I say? I love using the Intervention, but at least I was starting to use my other classes again before I quit playing.

Catfish is right. Theres 2 things I expect from Catfish.
1.Him having a LGM
2. Him never changing hi callsign

I'll use an LMG every great now and then, but I often run Scavenger Pro on my assault rifle class, so the only notable point in LMG's favor over an AR is gone, so why would I bother with a movement penalty for nothing?

I still have an LMG class, which usually consists of the MG4 because it is retardedly accurate even without the grip so it frees up a slot for Extended Mags so I don't have to worry about it's near ten second reload time, or a sight since it's Irons are a bit wonky.

I only put the intervention in there because of Search and destroy, talking about the people who quick scope, I myself cant use it, I use a Barrett 50. cal with an ACOG scope.

My class is an F2000 (Holographic) Scavenger, Danger Close, Sit-Rep. Secondary is a USP and equipment is a Claymore.

Serves me well enough...

I don't like using the Barrett because I do quick-scope - or rather I should say try to quick-scope - and I find the fact that you temporarily lose sight of the target when firing the Barrett to make me nervous on the off chance I didn't hit waste or above.

Of course if I'm going for just long distance sniping without mid-range encounters (ala Wasteland) I prefer using the WA2000.

Heh, fine by me. Modern Warfare 2 was just not that good overall when looking back on it. Infinity Ward was untimely, idiotic and sometimes plain assholes. Not to mention most of the players are assholes too, but that's every gaming community I'm afraid.

It is about time I get BFBC2 and never look back.

2. The next CoD Trymarch will be making it

Well the PC has really great communities because of the system they use to find servers. Alas, I lack a spiffy terminal.

Anyway, I'll agree about going to Bad Company 2. It has a built-in balance that just wasn't there in Modern Warfare 2...Snipers with AA-12/SPAS-12 secondaries, anyone?

I still use the same setup for everything. M240 or L86, grip, marathon, stopping power, and whatever else I choose after (really makes no difference to me, I usually just choose ninja).

That and an M9 or some missile launcher to take out streaks. All I use. For eeeeevvverrryyyythiiiiiing (and I do well, too)

I love the M240 as well, with some low-power optics. Usually use that when not using my FN 2000 kit.

Funny thing about the FN 2k: Danger close somehow works like stopping power for it. Don't ask how. It just does.
