[color=#006FFF]I'll just post what I said on another forum about the question between Catherine or Katherine...
I was kind of on the fence for both of them, as far as who I'd choose with my first round; I was going with the mindset to go down the Katherine path the first time, before playing the game, but after I actually played it, and saw more of Katherine's personality, I was honestly thinking of just changing routes then and there. Katherine seriously comes off as a rather manipulative, slightly inconsiderate, woman to me, and she gets angry with Vincent over nothing a few times. It really started to irk me. It was only making Catherine out to be more appealing to me, because she was actually caring, and kind to Vincent. Had she known about Vincent's relationship with Katherine from the start, but still did what she did, fully aware of it all, she would have come off as a terrible person, but she was none-the-wiser, and actually a rather innocent-minded lady through and through.
Even though Katherine did show some form of concern for Vincent by texting him about watching his alcohol intake, it wasn't enough to make me see her as that great of a person.
I find the the characters in the game, and their personalities and actions, to be completely up to the player's interpretation. I saw Katherine as manipulative of Vincent, and she was pretty much only using him to get what she wanted: a family--not a great one, but a family. While I saw Catherine as more like a kid who just goes at something with the mindset of "I see something I want, I take it." and she is upfront with Vincent, caring about his thoughts and feelings on things, and enjoys talking with him.
It just depends on how you see the girls. One's own personal experience could strongly alter their opinions and thoughts on them both, and that is what I really enjoy about the games' characters. How you see them is not how everyone else might see them.
TL;DR: Catherine > Katherine, imo. Lol.
