Idk if it been announced yet but info on the new xyz six sam is out.

I'll be honest, I was hoping for something better (something more similar to Shi En, maybe aimed at countering Monster Effects for example). Oh well.
I know right the effect seems kinda "meh" if you ask me.
Well, one COULD benefit from this if he/she went the old school way and built Sams as a dedicated swarm deck IMHO (like, with the old Sams too, such as Zanji and co.), which would be quite powerful considering that Kizan and Kageki allow for massive swarming (then add in Grandmaster for good measure and you're set). Then again, I don't know if such a deck can do something in the current meta (Rabbit, Inzektor, Hero, Wind-Up and so on make for tough customers to deal with).
Maybe I'll try something on DN if they uploaded the card already (I used to play Sams back in the old days and had a lot of fun with them).
Six Samurai has a much better match up versus Rabbits now that priority has turned into fast effect timing. And Wind-Ups are losing a lot popularity these days as well. Also, none of you are really seeing the bigger picture here for Shadow of the Six Samurai. You are expecting to have something broken, when Sams do not need this.
Having a single Shi En already forces opponents to commit to getting rid of him first anyway. Having an Enishi and Naturia Beast makes things worse on people due to Shi En and Beast locking down spell card usage. Enishi taking care of field presense. Shadow gives Sams something they really needed for a long time. Which is more attack power. It's not difficult to bring out a monster with an attack higher than 2500 these days (Dragons, Heroes).
Shadow is bringing more threats to the table with him, cards like Nishashi and Yariza can have OTK potential. Plus, Asceticism will be alive A LOT more now aside from getting a first turn Shi En. And let's face it, Six Samurai does need more strategy. Because EVERYONE knows how Six Samurai are to be played and they know the general set ups and how to stop them. The deck needs a new approach.
