Brand new links added, although you'll need HJSplit this time. Oh and you will need to redownload the entire thing. I'm sorry about that but I had to split the entire game and reupload it all again to fix the problem.

Re downloading as I type. But what would happen if I used winrar on this? Would it not work?

I thought the same thing too with another game, but winrar or 7zip should still work. If not, then you could always download HJsplit. I'm still downloading the game too

Ah, gotcha. I checked out a faq on HJsplit and it looks about right. If that doesn't work, then I'll just go with winrar. Thanks!

One thing I noticed while playing the game was that the menus were still in japanese. Is that how it is suppose to be?

They were still in Japanese for me. It's not a big deal anyway, the options are easy to figure out, and all you really need is Save and Load.

excuse me, but when my pc started downloading a file from megaupload (starting from part 1), my pc doesn't read it as an .rar file.
How come, should I set this file to be opened by WinRar?

Does anyone have a screencap of what the menus actually look like? That might help since the patch doesn't work.
But I got the game to install. Took a bit, but it worked. ^-^

Back after playing the game for a bit. I do have to say, playing this game, along with having the anime to supplement the main storyline, has helped make the tale of Clannad all the more meaningful for me. Thanks again for creating this custom installer and making downloading this game quick and painless. :)

Woah. So, okay. This is my first post ever here on Fakku (long time lurker) and I wanted to know if this is as good as it sounds.
I just download those sixteen files and extract them, and thereafter install the game like I would any other software?
I know virtually nothing about visual novels and would be very grateful if someone could school my ignorant ass a bit. The other versions of the game I've come across scare me away with a laundry list of steps and third party programs to download.
So in short, can I download and install this game hassle free or what?

Thanks for clarifying. I'll use the tutorial for Daemon and take it from there.
So while I'm at it, how is the game? Good? Really good? I know it's pretty popular. And what are some other visual novels that are just as good or better?
