aren't this is a translated VN? normally i don't change it except it weren't translated.... are that must to do?

Yes, even when it is translated, you still might need to change you regional settings. [I think it's because the program itself (the VN) is Japanese.]

As the above user mentioned you still should have your computer in in Japanese for your regional/non-unicode settings. Not having the computer set to these settings can lead to a white screen and or the game crashing. I know this first hand.

and just to make things more clearer, this one is Patch translated, it means it's not officially licensed for US PCs, so it's still in Japanese regional and unicode settings.

If you want to make it easy, just change your unicode and regional settings permanently into Japanese, after that you won't have any trouble installing any VN or eroge..unless you're playing MINORI Eroge's you must change your timezone too. :0

Well you might want to change your settings back to your native language or the language in which your PC originally came in. For instance updating your graphics driver while in a different language will change your driver interface which can lead to it not registering well with other parts of the computer. I know this first hand in which it happened and Vista started bitching and Aero feature disappeared. I knew I wasn't suppose to update but I wasn't paying attention at the time.

lol, almost all my programs are updates are now in japanese. :) since I've been using it from the last time I re-formatted my PC. :)

Well you know Japanese (or at least the jist of it). Most of my programs too use to be in Japanese and it wasn't really a problem with a little trail and error but then when Vista started bitching and the computer went into basic mode I decided maybe it isn't worth the risk. It's just something others should know (I should probably mention this in FAQ) that problems may occur. It's all fixable tho with a simple reset to original language and reupdate everything.

i just playing Kanon,Brass Restoration, Da Capo, Katawa Shoujo, and Wanko to kurasou(it's my favorite & some another non-H VN)..... and it didn't seem have problem with that...
so what must i do?

i tried to change my regional setting to japanese before installing...
and it went well
then i tried playing it and it went well
but when i changed the regional setting back to Indonesia,
the word start "falling apart".... but i still can read it though
but i dont see any problems with the game...
ahh are someone have the walkthrough for CLANNAD?
i just have finished Nagisa, Kyou/Ryou(This Is the Hardest... I almost fall apart when i trying to enters Kyou Arc (she looks very cute with her hair cut), ehem, Misae Arc, and Kotomi Arc....
so can someone help me?
