what i want to know is if its gonna need a 3,000$ pc to use it. that would really piss me off
doubt it. Blizz never makes their requirements too high. I mean, my comp is from 2002 (granted, I've changed out the video and sound cards, but the processor is still the same), and it has no problem running WoW.
ugh, there's a petition going on to make the art style "darker".
I'm just gonna quote myself from NarutoFan to save time.

And even when it's bright, it has that grimy dusty texture where Diablo3 looks clean and smooth.
Yeah, because in case you forgot, back during Diablo 2, graphics for PC games were shitty, and the final product looking grainy was something that you couldn't avoid with the technology level at the time. That wasn't an art decision, it was simply the best they could do with what they had.
Besides, the entire nation of South Korea will love it no matter what direction it takes, so this petition is pointless when Blizzard has that kind of numbers on their side.
There's a difference between dark in atmosphere and dark in lighting. There's no point in having a dark atmosphere if you can't see shit. There's a reason people only play through the "Who Turned Out the Lights?" level of EWJ once.
Would you rather have it like some of the levels in Neverwinter Nights, where if you didn't equip a shitload of items to increase light radius, YOU COULDN'T EVEN SEE THE WALLS, MUCH LESS THE MONSTERS?!
