Following the Digimon World 2 thread....I made this. So, anyone who has anything to say regarding this classic(I think) rpg...
spit it all.
This may not be able to carve itself in people's memory, even for me, Suikoden 2 ranks much higher than this game...but I've always liked how the towns and all that are made so vividly. Plus, the bgm for towns are quite catchy too...I enjoyed all of them. The loading time is still an issue here but...this game shows much improvement compared to the previous digimon rpgs...
What I liked most about this game is how they simplified(and imo, improved) the Digimon card battle system. I remember playing the Digimon digital card battle game and complained about how long it took me to win, just because the opponent chose to cling on their sorry lives...in this game there's no more delaying like that. Every round can end quickly and decisively, just like how I like it.
The battle system...hmm, I don't think there's anything too bad or spectacular about it....just your old turn-based style...but ah, grinding can be a real pain....especially with certain digimons. That kinda sucks....
Too bad the game didn't allow us to duel between players....I had to make hand-drawn decks to duel with my friends. If only in-game dueling is possible, I bet I can have more people feel the might of my Digimon card-less decks...yeah, all program cards. Love the deck.
