DotA Player's Thread (We love this game)

i always think of the possibility that the game can last this long. If it doesn't then at least get half of the items there

I'm not saying vlads is the greatest item ever, its just that it has a lot of benefits for the team

VLADS: 2050g
Grants a +16% Lifesteal Aura (melee)
+0.80 Brilliance Aura
a +5 Devotion Aura
+15% damage Aura.

MOM: 1900g
Grants 17% life steal
Activates Berserk-adds 75% attack speed and 15% movement speed, but you take 20% extra damage dealt

Their differences is 150g, but the differences is that vlads is gives a lot more to your team and in team battles, those little extra +armor and +damage can really change the tides of battle

EDIT:Forgot to point out another thing, with vlad you can have desolator with MOM, you can't

MoM are great to those that can stunlock the enemies to avoid severe damage.


but yurnero does not have such skills. so i would go vlads to yurnero.

meh,maybe its because i go gank crazy with my friends that i dont farm the whole game.Usuallu my team mates damage or disable the enemy while i spin and chase them and finish with omni.Since scepter gives more slashes now,been leaning to be getting them.

These days i dont play carries though,I like heroes like Raijin or Abbadon.Problem is most pubs cant carry..- -;;

Also you dont need bkb,you already got one,your spin skill

spin isn't as powerful as you might think its dead early game but later in the game its just use for escaping, people can just tank your spin and since you can still take damage when you're spinning you might die after spinning. BKB is a very nice item since it grants magic immunity(Yunero will die if he gets stunned/disable, his life is that low) and helps with his hp problem.

the spin gives spell immunity also.You still take damage during bkb

bkb duration also decrease with use.
in comparison
spin has a 5 sec duration with 30 sec cooldown
bkb has 5 sec duration with a 55 sec cooldown at least and at most a 10 sec duration with 80 sec cooldown

health problem can be solved with switching power threads to str in the past,now that power threads sucks,been going with bracers

Yeah it does give strength and damage,but i rather buy a part of heart(reaver) with that much gold

oh and for the lulz i did use lothar on yunero before and did an out of nowhere omnislash

ahhh that old tactic... remeinds me of the old unbroken dota days... also invi blade fury FTW...

i know it gives spell immunity, but while spinning you don't deal big damage in late game and if you're hitting against another stong damage hero you're gonna be screwed, while spinning you can still "hit" units but won't deal damage. If you have BKB, you have spell immunity and can still dish out the damage

basically what i'm saying, is that in late game, Yunero is better of whacking enemies than using Blade Fury

Oh well now they cleared up how omni does about 1/4 of oponent's life at lvl 1... always knew it did some fixed damage but just 150 - 250... kind low IMO

which is why it's kinda weak for me... having high armor reduces physical damage... and that also applies if your opponent has buckler/vanguard/PMS... it's maximum potential would be reached only on int heroes with low health and armor... but that's lvl 1... different story once it reaches lvl 2

That's why you need to increase your dmg too. -_- and relying only on your ulti is not good. you can use omni as an approach or as a finisher(when you can't chase the fag-i mean- enemy.

i am only talking bout spinning to run or early game.By late or mid game usually i have an omniknight ally to stick ard me to provide a free bkb.

Not saying buying one for him is bad,but there are other much important concerns like getting damage up and either manta or butterfly up

Omnislash is more of a situational finisher as chasing an enemy hero you may bump into another hero or creeps that draws away the slashes.Approach using omni is not a good idea as usually thats the initiator's job

i don't use dark seer but i love being his lane partner if i'm riki ^_^ lol lvl 6 hoooo the enemies are gonna be staying far away from the creeps ^_^

i haven't been able to use the new razor but i've seen how powerful he is

Most of the time i see them use the lightning that goes through a circular perimeter and his new ulti

I rarely see people use the attack stealing, though i think its because they don't know when to use it properly
