Nintendo is the only one of the three that actually innovates, the other two just follows if what Nintendo does is succesful.
They didn't have the balls to try something new, and look who lost this generations console war.
What are you talking about? Sony and Microsoft's motion sensor stuff has more in common with EyeToy, a Sony creation that came out before the Wiimote.
When Tsurayu talks about the console war, he's more referring to how it's just some stupid marketing spin. You don't hear about "the pen wars", how many units of pens are being sold in each region? Or "the fridge wars" or anything else like that.
@ZeroOBK: And outside of the usual first-party games, only casual games bother with the DS touchscreen and Wiimote, outside of basic menu control, that is. Oh, and No More Heroes, which sadly sold like shit. Remember, with the MS motion control, you could still be holding the controller while being picked up by the sensor. That means you could play, for example, a flight sim with the regular controller but turning your head IRL turns the pilot's head in the game. Same for a racing game. The MS and Sony methods are way more versatile than, to quote one of the guys from E3, "Sitting on your sofa and waggling some bit of plastic".
