Legend of Eros: Worlds Defiled
LEWD is an erotic text adventure game, currently in development.
The goal of the game is to create a persistent world that’s constantly changing by your actions.
Even when you log off from it, the world will continue to change, leading to new an unexpected experiences when you return.
You play your own character. Whether that’s breeding aliens, spreading around nasty things, rising up the ranks of “space academy”, buying up all the panties repeatedly and then burning them so no one can afford panties, or just trying to fuck or not fuck every single thing – you make your own story.
With enough support, there will be millions of words of content, as well as an immeasurable amount of procedurally created content. The engine is already in place to make this happen.
A test server for alpha supporters is now up!
The old pre-alpha was taken down a few days ago so it's only playable by those with test server access. I’m aiming to have this first public(as in, not supporter only) alpha release finished in August, or early September at the latest.
If you want to play on the test server, all you need to do is pledge on the Patreon, and then you can link your Patreon account to your LEWD account for instant access. See:

A LITTLE RECAP OF THE RECENT CHANGES

Well I’m not going to announce every detail of what’s planned here, but there are some cool things coming around August and September. (Alpha1 and Alpha2 releases)
One is that I’m going to finish up an engine feature that’ll help with procedurally creating content.
An example of that is that we’re going to turn the amphibious alien girls and plant girls into being just instances of their species.
They won’t just have randomized names or something, but they’ll have changes generated for each one of them that is unique and consistent with each. Then for the amphibious ones they can be competitive, possessive, so on. They’re be different content dependent on whether you indiscriminately fuck ’em all, or if you’re faithful or mostly faithful to one, and so on.
Another is that we’ve been talking about how to rework some things with how content modifies your character in an object oriented fashion. This way they can be tracked for individual removal, and even modifying each one. There’s also a lot changing to treat NPCs mostly the same as Player Characters engine wise, so those same things can be done to them. Ranging from making it very easy to handle things from pregnancies, cum inflation, etc. Right now they’re just adjectives added to something and they can interfere with each other and modifying them is basically impossible to handle well.
Lastly, I have some tech in the pipeline to procedurally modify portraits. Along with the updates to the parsing and way NPCs are handled, just like how a description of the Googirl could change from saying she’s blue or pink, a shader will also fade her portrait to that color to match it. I’m planning on making it so you set her to pretty much whatever custom color you’d like with the text descriptions and portrait image matching.

As far as where it's going, well it's impossible to list out a whole plan. There's just so much stuff.

I'd like to make something for making story-driven web VNs, CYOACs, Zelda like RPGs, as well as 2d fighters like Phantom Breaker or Elsword, basically be as easy as it is to set up and maintain as something like Wordpress.
There's those tools for making content easily, but then you'd have plugins to restyle the interface and how the content delivered is handled for different types of games. Basically the same concept of themes in WordPress, as the game is web based.
But it also works as an MMO server that's engine agnostic. I know I want to make a 3D hentai MMORPG that's a bit like Ragnarok Online in style, but better gameplay, so I've made sure the server doesn't care what sort of client is uing it, as I don't know which engine I want to use for my next game yet, or whether I'll be making my own.
It's actually mine.

I posted another blog thing about the inner-workings of the game server. It's probably not interesting to most people, but ah well. In a day or two I'm going to make another final post about the engine which'll be what the process of making one's own game on it, with an example of making a side-scrolling game and a list what other sorts of things can be made on it off the top of my head. Right now I want to get a bit more content added before I move on to that, though.

Okay so, just all of a sudden there is an exciting new thing I have to post about.
Epic Games just announced the public licensing terms for Unreal Engine 4 yesterday, and they're really great and exciting.
Just last month I was sort of mulling over options. Usually to get an engines source code, which you need to modify it to work for an MMO, it's hundreds of thousands of dollars. Wasn't sure how negotiations for a license for a porny game would go, too.
With this, instead of spending ~2 years making my own engine which frankly would lack some of the graphical features and just not be as good as UE4(Not really any shame in admitting that), I can just spend <1year modifying the UE4 to integrate it with my MMO server and some other things.

There are a lot of modern browser features needed or some things.
You need at least IE11, Chrome or FF within the past 10 versions, Android Browser 4.4, or IE Mobile 11, basically.
Opera 20 should work as well, but I know some older versions from last year had issues. Safari for PC isn't supported.
So for more than 95% it should be fine. How old of a Firefox were you using? If you don't like the new Firefox interface, I think there are builds that have the new features and security updates but with the old look.
And yes, help with kickstarter is definitely needed. :p Just sign up an account on the forums and you'll get an email when I launch it. I was planning on April 1st, but I think that's going to be pushed back 1-4 weeks because I still need to find good artists and I've been wasting a bit of time playing around with UE4. (I'll have something really need looking to show from that soon, at least)

Can't say I actually like Misako much. There's some weird anatomy in a lot of the pictures. :x And yeah, I've checked DA of course. Pixiv, tumblr, all over.
I like art like as109's and doomfest's a lot.

But yeah, sadly I've been having trouble finding artists that I bot like and whom are available. There are two more I can try out, though.
Things have been moving super slowly the past two weeks since I've just been working on security things, integration with some payment APIs, and backend stuff that doesn't actually make the game itself nicer. :/ But it's stuff that needs to be done some time.
Looking for artists was a massive pain. :< I'm kind of thinking I'll just get some placeholder stuff now, and then wait to see if any good artists come to me
