After 3 days and 14 hours spent in the world of Fate I have finally finished the game. 3 routes, 40 tiger dojos and awesome plot makes Fate one of the best VN you can play. I am truly grateful both to creators of the game and to ppl that have brought Fate to Fakku!

Umm, I am seriously drained from the ordeal of getting my computer to download and extract all of the files for Fate and the voice files, so I'm really sorry if this has already been answered. I can't quite remember all of the stuff I read today.

I just have two questions: are all six of the voice downloads needed? which items do I need to keep mounted to play the game?

@darkling: about the voice patch...you need to download it all, and install it using the patch...after you finished installing it, you won't need to keep anything mounted. the iso file is for ripping the voices only.

FINALLY I have this game downloaded and working. I just freed up about 16 Gigabytes.

GIGABYTES!! $@%%, after extracting all of the files I only had 1 Gig of free space.

Now to enjoy this wonderful game. And best of all, It came with a strategy guide!!

tried installing the game but every time i run the patch it says the cd/dvd is not detected.

i have the DVD image mounted. i tried mounting it with daemon, clone DVD, power iso, hell i even burned a copy of the dvd it still doesnt detect it.....


any ideas?

I am assuming you did not download and use the patch at mirrormoon website.

You can download the translation patch at mirrormoon.
Then you USE the patch you downloaded to install F/SN while mounting the DVD image. ( Voices too if you downloaded the realta Nua voice iso)

If this still does not work, clarify your method you did from the rar files

the download is about 4 gigs, which when decompressed will be roughly 7 gigs. The game after installed is iirc 3 gigs. Another 2 gigs...I dunno. Probably some other random stuff.

Probabbly the Realta Nua Iso, the PC game only extracts the Voice files, leaving tons of crap un-used

i did use the offical mirrormoon patch 3.2

ahh forget it downloaded the 3 cd version and it installed fine

then patched it again with the dvd version.....

not really sure if i was supposed to do that from the start.....
