Have you tried installing the game itself, without the patch, set the language to Jap, then run the game yet? Does it work that way?
EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot. You need to keep your Disc 3 mounted the whole time you want to play your game. Have you done that part as well?

i changed to japanese and it didnt start but i started playing with the options on my computer and it started so im not complaining now

Well, that's good then. But I remembered that if you installed the vn using the english patch, then you needn't worry about unicode settings.

i got a little problem with installing the game itself i know how it works with mounting cd´s etc (daemon tools)
But i cannot seem to mount the 3rd cd because i dont have the bin file for it
And before u suggest i already downloaded it over and over again so that didn't fix it :/.

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but the voices skip some of the dialog. Is there anyway that i can fix this or did i do something wrong with the download?

Everytime I get on this game it freezes and theres nothing I can do about it except Ctrl+Alt+Del it away and the first time it happened I didnt save, Im just wonderng if this freezing is common or something.
When it happens any music in the background still plays, Im able to move around the window (if its windowed), and if Im in a menu options highlight when I scroll over them, but nothing works. Even task manager says its not running but nothing is happening.
Am I just stupid, or is the game screwing up on me? I havent been able to get past 1/31

I don't think the game should freeze or have any trouble unless it got corrupted when you were installing it. It never happened to me, but try changing the configuration first, such as instant effects and special. Which 1/31 are you talking about? The one when you start out as Rin in the prologue or Shiro after?

If all of the endings are cleared, you should have the alternate main menu and there should be a button for it.
i have cleared all 5 endings and the tiger stamp, but i dont see the button you are speaking of.
the alternate main menu should be sakura flowers\tree right? but the buttons are all the same.

I'm having the same problem. It doesn't appear to have crashed but the controls stop working.

so i started playing this game, doing fate route now, seriously shirou sucks, its like the more progress you make the more his balls shrink, was actually kinda glad when he got killed in one of the bad endings,
taiga dojo was funny, but mostly its archer teasing rin that has been the most amusing dialogue so far
