I was gonna name Lost Planet 2 as well but then I figured that its more like youre the epic one in those boss fights, since enjoyment varies with how good you are at it.
I remember beating the supposed insane difficulty in like 3? hours.

I should say.. God of War 2... battle with zues...I would say it's safe to say most of the boss battles in the God of War series were pretty fucking legit. Remember Cronos in God of War 3? One of the best moments.

Yazmat...did not make it far to fight him, but I did fight the Hell Wyrm.
And the final battle on Heavenly Sword was pretty epic as well.

fighting yazmat was like trying to kill the hand of god. That fight, LITERALLY took me 5 hours of nonstop nerve wracking scrapping & bare survival, only to have it victory stolen from me at the absolute last second. & I did this fight over 17 times. I wanted to rip that little moogle into fur clumps.

For me the most Epic/Hardest Boss Battle would have to be Alatreon for Monster Hunter Tri, that is if you tried to kill him without being cheap and sleep bombing him and try to slash him to death. He was such a bitch to fight so many times I would die from just two hits but fun none the less.

another one of my favorite boss battles was ganon on windwaker. i love it when he turns around and smacks the crap outta zelda for shootin him with light arrows, and when he kicks you in the face when you try to block his combo, lol (i don't remember it being that hard of a battle tho).

Kinda recent but I really did like fighting Sonic Generations Death Egg Robot battle. That remix music as well. Really fun to play imo along with the original Death Egg Robot :)

Oh, I remember Pixy... It was annoying fighting him, but I LOVED the music that played during your battle. It felt so epic.
Markov was pretty fun on lower difficulties, but just annoying on Hard.
