This game is called a "love story," but the goal of the player is not to find love with one of the female characters. The true objective is to attain an understanding of the entire scenario of the game and explore the possibilities with each character. How can you escape? Who will be sacrificed? The story develops based on the choices you make as you proceed through it. Your decisions dictate a unique story scenario for your character and the others who are trapped underwater with you. This game is really really good, and i fuk'n mean it.

BTW, it does have a brief text only sex scene (well, at least the cocktease).

hmm from what i remember, you have to pay really close attention to even realise it was a sex scene. Personally I think even caling it a cocktease would be an exaggeration. But just reiterating what everyone has said, this is best visual novel ever.

EVER 17 - 1 of the best games! This game don't need H-Scene. Storylines in Ever are avesome... I don't forget the time, which i spent, plaing in this game

Wow this game brings back memories. It was especially good for me since I play VN for the story and not the sex. My biggest beef with it though is that there is technically only 3 routes to read through. Two of them are basically clones of another. Still spent... 40+ hours on this or so I think. That is longer than I spent on F/SN >.>

Yeah, this game is awesome.
Every detail, every phrase in this game is carefuly planned.
It has a good replay value.
It also have a good extras feature system, that let you see what you haven't done yet.
It's in my TOP 3, with Clannad and Tsukihime.
After playing this game it became hard for me to get satisfied with another VN.

Ah, Ever17. My first full visual novel. Coco is love. Quite possibly my favorite character of all time. The true ending has a lot to do with that... Anyone who's finished the game should know what I mean.

Getting the bad ending in Ever 17 is a good thing imo, it was my first ending too, and it just made me wanna get the other endings even more.

Sum sad shit in that ending.
