Its really kind of sad that you havent read the other routes in FSN I've said it before but to me each route was progressively better than the last.
I know, mate. Just consider it one of the many things certain people just won't do that to others would give them a lot of satisfaction. Like eating strawberry glazed chocolate chip ice cream. I can dig the hell out of it, but my cousin is absurdly adamant against it because he thinks it'll somehow ruin the flavor of choco-chip for him. It's not like the choco-ship ice cream will change if he tries something different added to it, but he just won't do it.
UBW and Heaven's Feel are just two scoops of strawberry glazed chocolate chip ice cream I'll never eat. Glad they have their fans, at least. Even better that most of them are like you and not like that one guy I saw in a forum who wanted to keep Sakura as his pet.
I do have to agree a bit about Jack the Ripper though I wont go as far as you have though if it is Fate I will read it. I will save my opinions til after I have completed it.
Crap, don't take the higher ground like that! Now watch. It's fate that Jack the Moe will probably have some great emotional character development that'll totally overthrow her age/genderbend.
Or maybe the story will just focus on a better designed character. Who knows?
And as to being a Saber Nero fan....I win.
Haha! I won't argue there. You've been on Saber Extra long before I took a chance on her and got my mind blown.
I don't have any pics available on my phone but you still lose to me good sir
LOL, I played it on the day it was launched in Japan.
I like her so much, I even blew over 250 bucks on this cover of her,Saber Lily and RIn(the other girls on the flip side but thats not the point.

Spoiler:
I just pre-ordered the figma of Saber Bride that was posted a few post back as well as her Beach Queen figure and already have a decent figure of her in addition to 2 wall scrolls and the LTE of the game.
On a side note I cant find a reliable site that ships dakimakura to the US if you know one PM me the links.

Oh and making Nero a character in D&D was fun.
Saber bride figma, isn't that only with the Virgin White Box copy of the Fate CCC?
I recently grab a Fate extra artbook. I don't really like the beach queens quality in general, I have a few figs from them, didn't quite like them.As for tapestries/wall scrolls, I got no place to put them, all my ero taps all over my walls.
As for Dakimakura, you can get Shopping Mall Japan to get you Dakimakura you want.
I didn't want to catch up and read 25 pages of this, but I'm thrilled that they is much fan appeciation for this game. Although I'm not a big fan of the F/SN visual novel (it bored me to tears, yes I know you all love it), I liked the F/SN anime and the episodes I watched from Fate Zero. I pre ordered this from Gamestop just to get the Fate/Facts booklet. I didn't regret it at all. =P
I haven't beat the game yet, but this made me want to jump right back into it. =)

Great to hear, mate! No worries about the VN love, either. I only got into Fate/Stay Night because I wanted to get into Fate/EXTRA and understand the subtle nods (which are only in abundance with one of the servants). I also couldn't get into Fate Zero, so you're ahead of me on that.
This is going to sound retarded, but I only just noticed that Rin Tohsaka's name is misspelled both on the Fact booklet and in Extra. I can kind of dig it in Extra since she's technically not the same Tohsaka as in F/SN (or maybe she's a decedent or something, I don't know). However it's just another example of the bad Engrish in the Fact booklet.
Still gotta enjoy the pre-order bonus, though. Helps flesh out the world a little more. ...Though I wish it came with a Saber Extra Red Figure. Meh.
Hope you'll pick up Fate/EXTRA CCC if and when Aksys announces it's release (probably a year from now...maybe).

I do find it kind of interesting, actually. I also find that Nasu's character design is ridiculous to the point of being hilarious. That is retarded design. I'm sure it's only because he wants to have some fun and let loose...but WOW. Just...wow. Guess he'll be playing as every thirteen year old JRPG lover's wet dream.
And the one with the mystery character seems to be... I don't know. I mean, I'm all for mysterious and outlandish characters, but having a robot with a gatling gun seems like cheating to me.
Thanks for the post. I'll check it out sometime.

Cool it, guys. There's enough wonderfulness to go around. Remember, in EXTRA the Grail can make limitless servants, which means limitless Saber Extra Reds!
Also: You made Saber Extra Red into a D&D character? Interesting. How'd it go?
Well I actually have effectively made most of the original cast of Servants into D&D characters but it actually wasnt that hard when you have an array of books at your disposal.

Oh, very cool, mate! I tried to get into a role playing group once. At first things were cool, but everyone eventually got fed up with my newb-ness and the GM caught me in some hell trap that took me out of the game.
...Assholes...
But it'd be interesting to see a game played with Servant characters.

Hey Megaten , one question: "Servants vs Persona's" which is better ?
Fantastic question, my man! If I was to try my best and put aside my obvious bias, I'd say that Personas are still better because:
1. They are an extension of you, and therefore lie somewhere in between the average superpower and the ability to summon a monster at your disposal
2. Once you overcome whatever trial it takes for you to manifest one, there's no strings attached and (depending on which storyline you follow) you keep it for the rest of your life and can use it whenever you want.
3. They are the embodiment of all the deities known to man. When you summon a Persona, you're not only summoning a part of you, you're summoning the part of you that resonates with a fucking ancient god. When your persona strikes or does something, its with the authority of a being that transcends time and reality. How hardcore is that?!
...Of course you also have the personas who are just copies of demons, which is lame as shit, so it's really all about the luck of the draw.
Do you have a strong will and wholly believe in your beliefs? Well, you'll probably get paired up with Shiva or Apollo or fucking Izanagi!
Do you just aimlessly wander through life without doing all that much? You get Jack Frost. You'll just have to deal with it and be thankful it's not that one demon who perpetually takes a shit on a toilet.
Of course there's also cons to it too, which you don't have to deal with if you had a Servant instead. Namely, your personas don't have an actual goal (most of the time) for joining you.
Yeah, if you try to leave the war or do something really stupid, your servant might probably just kill you. Thing is, those servants are each unique copies of their mythological other and even if they do kill you, it won't really be them coming back in the next war for a second chance at the grail. Knowing this, and since they really want that grail, they'll put up with a lot of bullshit from you.
Personas? Fuck that. Unlike a servant who'll work with you (or behind your back) because they want that grail, personas don't really want anything (most of the time). They connect to you via your soul and strength of will out of a whim. They're connections to pan-dimensional deities across the Amala Universe, mate. They're just helping you because they like your style, because your personality resonates with theirs to some extent. If you abuse them they'll just turn on you and kill you, maybe even use your body to kill someone you care about. That's if you act like a dick with a good persona.
_A bad persona, like one who's evil to the core, might just manipulate you or mindfuck you for fun or their own personal gain. Your strength of will is all that keeps them in check inside of you. If you paired up with something like Loki and you start faltering or giving in, Loki will have a field day with you.
_Finally there's the real problem, the worst and most likely: Your persona literally going berserk. Basically the details are sketchy at best on this, but it happens when something inside your mind goes awry. It screws with the connection to the deity as well as your own connection to your soul, and so your persona will go batshit and try killing you/those around you. This isn't for fun or because they're evil. It's just some defect that occurred either in the summoning process or afterwards (like a severe trauma that rattled you to your core). Those times are the worst, and let me tell you, it never ends well for those persona users.
Oh, and there's no persona equivalent for the Command Seals, so you can't even lay down any ground rules form the start just in case you get a rowdy persona.
In P2 they had more of an identity, to where they'd even emerge on their own at certain points and speak of their own volition. In P3 they weren't as individualistic, but you saw that personas are indeed connections to real deities (Thanatos) of that story's reality and that they can go batshit. In P4...they are pretty much just superpowers. They don't have personalities (aside from Izanagi...kind of), and don't interact at all.
I follow the P2 principle of the persona mythos, where in having a persona means you have another entity living within you.
I guess another con would be that you can't summon your persona to actually be your friend. They're inside of you and you can kind of hang out with them like that, but you look like a crazy person. With servants you can hang out, play ball, have some nice dinners, and even fuck each other's brains out. If all you had was a persona, it could be considered lonelier in comparison.
_Then again, your persona will never leave you (unless it kills you), whereas your servant might for a number of reasons.
I'd say that ultimately personas beat servants, if only because the rules involving obtaining and keeping them are much more laxed and scarce. Also, if you were to pit any persona protagonist against any servant, they'd win every time, since personas also grant some seriously inhuman survival abilities to their users just by being inside of them, and because MegaTen protagonists are ungodly powerful.
The only servant I can think of who'd put up a real challenge would be Gilgamesh, but that's only if the protagonist had a weaker persona.
I know what you're thinking. "But Gilgamesh has all of the original Noble Phantasms and a weapon that can kill gods and destroy worlds and-"
Watch this (SKIP TO 5:21):
What you just saw was a teenager who literally became momentarily immortal because of his persona and, in a single attack, killed both one of the original Japanese gods and destroyed a dimension of lies (all that fog is Izanami's power to alter reality to her will, her version of a reality marble).
Yes, he keeps his persona, the original Japanese god/father of all Japanese gods, after the victory (even if the friggin' fighting game says otherwise). No, it doesn't matter how strong Enkidu or Ena are. They can't match up to Izanagi-no-Okami's raw power.
...Maybe I'm being a little bias now. The P4 protagonist is one of the strongest protagonists in all of MegaTen lore, just under Aleph and the strongest one: the Demi-fiend. Admittedly, Gilgamesh would probably clean house with Persona 3's protag and Tetsuya (Persona 2's protag).
Like, really clean house. As in wreck their shit in under a minute. It'd be embarrassing.
Still, I compared the strongest persona protagonist with the strongest servant, so I don't think I cheated.
Haha! Hot damn I wrote a small novella here! Hope that answers the question, though.
In conclusion: Personas win...even though you don't get to have a Saber of your own. ...Which kinda sucks...
Stupid people who can't see the difference between saber/extra and Saber/stay night.

That's one lone speech there. lol
yeah i kinda like persona's better. Cu Chulainn!
Nice choice of persona. Cu Chulainn will always be a badass, but I do wish his weapon looked as unique as his Lancer counterpart.

Nice figure though.
I just noticed this and was about to post it until I saw you beat me to it. Haha~
Agreed on the figure. You got the red ribbon, the large breasts, and... Well, she should be bit shorter and her arms should be bit thinner since Saber Extra Red does have a smaller frame, but I think it looks pretty good, too. Fantastic job on the face.
Also yeah, just disregard the commentators. The vast majority of them on that site (as lots of sites) are retarded as hell. It's funny to watch that much concentrated stupid at first, but after a while it takes its tole on you...

Hahaha~! What can I say? My username tells no lies.
I grew up on Shin Megami Tensei and actually wrote a paper for my college philosophy class using SMT: Nocturne as a basis for my topic of "the perception of religion". Got a passing grade, too. haha
off topic:
hey Megaten sisnce you like the SMT games have you watched the anime Tokyo Majin?
they say its the spiritual cousin of the megaten series, even their school name Magami academy got its name from megami.

No, never have.
Ever since anime started putting forth the idea of "a sad end is a mature end" wholesale I've stopped watching it. Though this does seem pretty nice, so I could check it out. Don't see all that much SMT-like stuff about it from the wiki though.
Thanks for the mention.

Hahaa~! I could've guessed at that one. Also: Keep those avatars coming. With each new one Saber Extra Red takes off just a bit more. Though this image makes me think, with a bit of CG touching up, we could have a live action Fate/EXTRA flick.
...Okay, with a LOT of CG touching up on the actresses and actors.
