Finally, after two years and 92 hours and 52 minutes of playtime, I have completed Fate/Stay completely, and what a wild ride it was.
Fate: I'm a huge Saber fan, so I enjoyed playing this route obviously. The ending was bittersweet, but seeing Saber fade away into the sky was beautiful, (and Realta Nua was even prettier). I took that as the two of them met again in heaven/Avalon, and even though they both had passed away, they were both relieved of their duties and finally were rewarded in the end.
UBW:This is probably my favorite route. It was so full of action, and it made my blood pump very hard. Also, I was so pleased to see Rin having Saber as her servant, and the Archer/Shirou fights. And, the true end, with Archer smiling, and Rin waiting for Shirou at the school, smiling as well, made me extremely delighted.
Heaven's Feel: This arc started out a little slow for me, but by the end, I was totally emerged in its storyline. Sakura is definitely the most complicated heroine, and it was really neat to see her good/dark sides clash. It was also very hard to see her suffering, but one of my favorite moments in FSN was definitely when Rin stopped herself from killing Sakura, and took the dagger in the gut. It was extremely well done scene, and made me pretty misty eyed. Also, the normal end for Heaven's Feel was bittersweet, but nice, and the true end was fantastic. No wonder why Taiga said it was FSN's "grand finale."
At any rate, I absolutely loved this game, and it's story will be in my memories for years to come. Now it's onward to the FZ novels, and FHA, when it's translated, of course. :)
