Favorite weapons to use in RPG's?

I love anything sharp that can slice into your opponent’s bare flesh and send him/her into an agonizing spiral of death! (...takes a few minutes to cool her dark side cool off and finish posting)

If I can't use blades, I'll use guns. A friend turned me on to Gears of War. I was so excited when I got to do my first head stomp!!

I prefer sniping so I'd go with guns or bows. If its not a semi shooter game, I'd go with swords because they are the most flexible.

If a stick is available, I will use the stick for as long as humanly possible.
Otherwise, swords and spears and daggers.

I prefer sword,even its lack of power,its powerful when it come's to hand-to-hand combat,and it light,to gain a better movement get a good style. . ^^

How dare you lump in sword and board with the bad-assery that is two handed swords. Everyone knows a mans worth, and status as the main character is measured by how obscenely large his two handed sword is.

Ranged fighting always been overpowered, yet its still satifying to hear a bullet/arrow thud into your enemys cranium

Only thing i never normally choose is Magic,i know its powerful and incredibly useful, but ive always thought of myself as a more physical class than magical, i love bashing skulls in as a warrior and shooting people from the darkness as a rouge... mages seem to bore me though xD, although i love summons xD

Gunslinger, most of that love comes because of Fallout (altough I always carry a "Bumper Sword" just for the look of it)

Swords. That may be boring and ordinary, sure, but I can't help it. I simply like swords.

However, I also like axes quite much and I'm quite sad that they rank so low on the poll (compared with the other non-sword weapons).

I have always preferred the spear, because it is very versatile. It can be thrown, if you need a ranged weapon. It can be used one handed, or two-handed if power is needed. It gives you greater reach to keep enemies away. Plus, it can be set to receive an enemies charge.

probably a pair of handguns, magical with unlimited ammo :D

i like to use swords but if i'm with a team of players in a multiplayer RPG ill be the person who would balance it out and choose the one left out... aka the healer lmao.

I'm a simpleton and just can't help my passion for the sword class, especially the katana.

I tend to go for the two hand swords since they are fast and powerful (well balanced) but I sometimes use spears and bows for fun.

Everyone knows how awesome Fallout 3 was and even with the teething issues they had in New Vegas (somehow they managed to add errors into a working engine that they used in Fallout 3) the games were fantastic and I don't think many people can find all that many faults within the game.

Spear. It offers a good balance between having a sharpened metal to cut flesh with the extra length of the pole as a blunt weapon to break bones.

If the game has guns, guns.

If the game doesn't have guns, swords + bow + summons + a whole lot of FIRE.
