Favorite weapons to use in RPG's?

Alright simple video game poll. What's your favorite type of weapon to use when playing an RPG? It can be ANY kind of RPG (stategy, action, turn-based, etc). For me, I like to use swords the most. For example, in Demon and Dark souls I always used a katana ([size=10]Uchigatana and Iato[/h]) because it was badass as hell and they're fast, deadly weapons.

What's your favorite type of weapon to use in a RPG?

swords (katanas, rapiers, straight swords, etc)

spears

axes (sycthes included)

bows or crossbows

guns (pistols, machine guns, etc)

claws, knuckles, guantlets

staff

clubs, maces (blunt weapons)

throwing items (knives, ninja star, bombs, etc)

no weapon, I'm a crazy bastard and go bare-handed

musical instrument? (harp, flute, etc)

other? (I think I got most of them..)

Halberd or Stormscythe for me. I usually play a battlemage style.

I think you forgot twin swords/blades.
I usually use them in RPG.
They have so many combos.

I'll go with the modern gun-kata method:

1x KRISS Super V
1x P90
2x HK54
4x Combat knife
1x Katana

Sword's of all kinds would have to be what I mainly use in RPGs.
